I was here on a trip and I was here at the Restaurant/Bar. I have already had a (1) beer (Tap) a couple times during the week on my lunch. I had came inside sat at the bar and asked for a beer (Tap) on 3/5/26 and when I have ask for a beer I was told that the bar isn’t open till 4pm and I was given a snub attitude over it. When I had told them that I have already been here through out the week already, they had instead told me that shouldn’t have happened. Well maybe this should be something that needs to addressed on the White Board that sits outside the doors and on the Website. Also you can tell that they dont care about there reviews because there is no reply either…lol that Southfield/Detroit for you.

Solid comfort food, good variety on the menu and a bit expensive given they cater to the hotel staying crowd. Very professional service, Kind and attentive team at the restaurant at dinner and breakfast. Can’t really go wrong but do not expect surprises.

The hotel provided me with a complimentary gift card which I used for a drink at Tango’s bar — a mojito. For a free drink is was pretty good!
Lots of people had PCs out and were working / socializing, so I moved into the restaurant for dinner. My waitress was nice enough, but it took a long time for my food to come out, and when it did, it was not very good. I think I will try my luck elsewhere next time.
Update: The menu has been re-vamped, and the food and service are much improved since I was here last.

Food was great. The service was awful. It was a Monday evening. Not too busy. Waited at the host stand while the server was having a conversation for awhile before getting sat. No one greeted us. Many servers walked by and never helped us out. Finally I asked if we had a server and were helped. The server forgot our app and had to be asked to refill our drink. After our food arrived we were never checked on. The food was great tho. The zip tips and Brussels were awesome.

I did not have car for the first night at the Westin, so I was captive to Tangos. I believe the description said “casual but elegant”, however I question the latter. It tries to double as a sports bar, and fancy restaurant, but you cannot have elegance with a party at the bar. The bartender was very popular and folks were having a good time. Because I soloed, I positioned myself away from the bar, but in view of the tv screen.
My server, Chris, was efficient, and professional, as were all Westin staff.
I ordered a glass of a Paring red blend at $13. It was fruity, but the finish had some bite to it. The list overall was okay.
For an entree I ordered the Zip Tips, sauteed beef tips with mushrooms sauced over garlic mashed potatoes, at $34. Frankly, the Zip sauce could have used a little zag to go with the Zip.

Very good dinner meal at Tango’s at the Westin in Southfield, MI. The food ( salads, shrimp fettuccine, and cheesecake) was just what we needed after a day of touring.
Our server Sabra did an excellent job . . . all selections came out as ordered and at the same time. She kept checking with us to make sure things were good, but yet didn’t overdo.

Had breakfast here while staying in the hotel. The 1 star is for the service. The waiter was nice enough. The rest deserves negative stars. Waited 45 minutes to get food and it came out cold. Hashbrowns undercooked and eggs clearly out of some disgusting bag mixture, seemingly microwaved. You couldn’t pay me to eat here. Instead, I paid more than $20 for my meal. Some racket they are running here. Please don’t eat here if you can avoid it.
