Tango’s Empanadas & Grill – Meridian is now open for dine in from 11-7 pm Monday thru Saturday. Genuine Argentinean and American-style empanadas and subs. Since 2006, we have been creating empanadas for the Treasure Valley and have over 50 varieties -from savory to desserts! We cook your empanadas when you order, so they’re fresh, never reheated or kept in warmers. We’re a mom and pop business who has been blessed to have their dream come true here in Idaho and it’s all because of our wonderful customer family! So if it’s empanadas you want, we’re here. From the authentic meat, salteña, chicken, ham and cheese, humita, spinach, fugazza and even dulce de leche, there’s something for everyone. We also have subs and churros.

I absolutely love Tangos! I spent a few months in Argentina recently and it was so fun to arrive home and discover this place. The traditional empanadas are delicious and their fun remixes like the hamburger are so yummy too. The sweet ones are very rich and can be a little overwhelming personally but so great to share with a friend! Great price for what you’re getting. I don’t recommend their sandwiches as I’ve found them to be a little soggy and not super flavorful unfortunately but the empanadas are great.

Best empenadas i have ever had. We always stop here when in the area. We order extra and freeze them. When reheating i microwave on medium power until slight warm/defrosted then use air fryer to crisp.

The empanadas were crispy and crunchy. Just awesome. I did not enjoy the “el puerco” empanada as much but the “Chimicarne” and the “Gaucho” are awesome. Great flavors on the gaucho. Probably the most recommended one I would say. Service was awesome, front service gal was really nice and gave great suggestions. The service was fast and delightful. And the food was fresh.

I went in and ordered mine & my sons to go. I got the cheeseburger one and he got half cheeseburger & half the pizza when I got home I cut into them and they we’re basically empty… pretty disappointing after reading good reviews and now I’m out $14 and it was a 30 min drive…

So happy to have a Tangos dine in spot here in Meridian. This place has been a favorite of mine for a long time. This new location did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning food and fillings spilling out of the crusts. Don’t miss this place.

I received a sugar crusted meat filled empanada when I clearly ordered a cherry empanada. The mistake would be easier to tolerate if I hadn’t encountered a metric ton of attitude from the staff when I ordered. I placed my to go order at 6:40 and you close at 7 – I apologized for the inconvenience and I tipped you well – you still couldn’t get it right and you were still a jerk about it. I can’t help but feel this was intentional. If you want to be out the door by 7:00 – then close at 6:30. How many more complaints do you have to have about the staff mocking customers or being downright rude…before you decide to do something about it? Maybe next time don’t talk about the customer in front of them…if that customer also speaks Spanish.
