Tango in Laguna Beach feels like the ocean breeze flirting with your palate. First-timers arrive curious and leave ecstatic. This cozy, romantic corner choreographs both poetry and flavor. Service dazzles, Thia’s warmth and genuine charm set the tone, while Evan adds effortless polish. From the kitchen, Oliver, master chef, delivers transcendence: the short rib defines the evening, and the cheesecake seals it with a final, unforgettable note. Highly recommended.

Tango is an incredible atmosphere, gorgeous design, thoughtful, with an attentive service team, and the food is phenomenal by the way. If this European tapas restaurant and bar was anywhere else, there would be a line at the door, so if you are anywhere near Laguna Beach or Orange County, you should make the trip down. It’s worth every penny. Heart and stomach is full. I recommend Tango Laguna to anyone that ventures near the area.

We had the best time at Tango in Laguna Beach! There was live music playing, and we were seated upstairs in the cutest little nook with a beautiful view—it set the perfect vibe. The decor is charmingly Spanish with a fun, eclectic twist. We ordered the chicken skewers, steak skewers, and shrimp camarones all perfectly cooked and buttery delicious. Even the bread was amazing! My Mai Tai was outstanding, and Evan was the sweetest server who made our third date night here extra special. Definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to!

Highlight of our dining experience in Laguna Beach! We were super impressed by all the food that came out. Definitely snag a spot on the patio as it is beautiful to be outside.

Next level food, cocktails, ambiance, and staff come together to create an incredible establishment known as “Tango Laguna”! My partner and I have been coming here since moving to the area in 2024, but the recent enhancements have reinvented what we already thought were great.. into AMAZING. This is a MUST visit for anyone looking for something unique and extraordinary in the best beach city ever. ️

Special props to Joey for making us feel like family. Nikko (sp?) and Matt provide some of the best service you’ll ever receive, and the bartender is a master mixologist (loved both of the tequila drinks on the menu – pictured). We also visited on a bonus night with live performance by @karinanuvosoul and @yussiwenger, who notched the ambience up another level. Incredible musical artists!

Thank you for creating such a memorial place for anyone to enjoy a date night, feel like a local, or experience new and unique flavors in the neighborhood. Looking forward to seeing all there is to come with Tango Laguna!

PS – The cheesecake and banana loaf.. literally.. AMAZING.

Wifey suggested we make it to the Sawdust Festival so while in town we decided to get some dinner. Located near all the hot spots Tango offered convenience with outdoor dinning. First off Niko was our server. Very nice gentleman who was very attentive and informative. Made us feel like we tourist in his homeland of Argentina. Now the food. My expresso Negroni well that was a let down. Not for me. Wifey had a sangria albeit that it’s called something else. Tapas were good. Highly recommended the asparagus wrapped with prosciutto. The steak skewer definitely. The issue and only issue I had was the traffic and the smell of fumes. Not much can be done about that maybe next time we will sear indoors.

Been here a bunch of times and it’s always solid. Good location, good atmosphere, and the bar is run really well. Ronan who appears to be the bar manager does a great job and it shows. service is smooth and everything is consistent. Drinks are phenomenal and the Spanish tapas are on point.

Easy place to stop in, always a good experience. Would recommend 10 times over.

Food was great, service was friendly, quick and honest, and the space was designed incredibly well. Felt very trendy (in a good way), design-forward, and lively. Great for a date night, drinks and tapas with friends, or even for a quick dinner. Some street parking on Forest and the small lots in downtown. Highly recommend the Thai wings – super underrated! But everything was great.

The service, food, and drinks were all amazing. Alyssa was our server and she was so sweet and helpful. We asked the bartender, Sebastian, to surprise us with a cocktail, and he made the most beautiful drinks. The fun, whimsical atmosphere makes for the perfect date spot.

I went with three friends and the experience was disappointing overall. Even though it was not very busy, they struggled to seat us and never followed up after asking to merge tables, so we had to move chairs ourselves.

The food was extremely overpriced for the portion size and quality. It was fine but not great and definitely not worth the price. The empanadas were tiny, even for a tapas menu. Ordering them was awkward, with strict limits, and the server decided on their own not to bring my friends their full orders without checking with them.

They also could not split the bill across four credit cards, which is pretty standard elsewhere. We left still hungry and had to eat somewhere else. The only reason this is not a one star review is because the staff was friendly and the space had a cozy ambiance with good music. We will not be coming back.
