Pretty disappointed. Look forward to the perch, price went up to $27 instead of $16 that was on the menu on google, my bust, that was 5 years ago.
Poor management. This was noon on 12/13/25. The cook was late, so no baked potatoes. One lady was doing her best with 2 big parties, she was a server and the bar tender. The beer was foamy. The carpet is dirty and the table legs are rusted and wobbly like they were in a flood. It is going to close. I guy in a blue hoody, punched in, went behind the bar filled a styrofoam cup with ice, poured something out of a 5th and added some soda, off to work he went. The Wrought Iron Grill is 10 times better.

Went for our 10 year wedding anniversary and food was good not fantastic but the service was terrible. Long wait at door, getting drinks and order placed. Had to ask for a steak knife and refills on soda. Not terribly busy either so really no excuse. Went in Feb and decided to give them a extra chance but won’t be back for long time now.

We came from out of town to try something out of our comfort zone. We talked my mother in law into this place after seeing the food offerings and atmosphere online. Upon arriving with our “party” (5 adults and 4 kids the youngest being 2) I was told they had no milk although it was clearly on the menu. Ordered lemonade with a little bit of water, kids received water no lemonade. Not a big deal it wasn’t on the bill so I let it be. Waitress was okay, she shoved passed me to sit my drink down without any warning which was a little off putting. Our food took a while with us being the ONLY table in the restaurant. I got a side salad, French onion soup and their bone-in wings. My wings were delicious and was very happy with them! My French onion soup was very salty and I only ended up eating a few bites because I had to push it aside. The was no kids menu offering at all so my kids got the tenders and the slider appetizer to split which worked out well and were both yummy. The overall experience was not terrible and I was relatively happy with how dinner went until we got the bill. $165!! We had a lot of meals but the math still did not seem right. We sat looking over the bill for a few minutes confused and somewhat sticker shocked when my mother in law finally noticed they had added gratuity! I asked about it and our waitress told us it was for “parties of 8 or more” mind you 4 of our 9 people were CHILDREN who spilt meals. When we first were seated our waitress had even joked about how my youngest son who is two is “ a half a person”. I asked if the gratuity charge was stated in the menu or anywhere and was met with a simple “oh I don’t know” we paid with cash so the total was to be $160.02 the waitress tried to only give us a $5 back when given $170.02 my mother and law mentioned how she paid cash and should be getting $10 back and the woman said “ oh sorry I’m not used to this” ?? Used to what giving back change or ripping people off with gratuity charges we were not told about? None of us mind tipping as most of use are from the restaurant industry ourselves but to not be told before had seems sly and dirty. My mother in law was pretty upset by this point and after voicing it to the waitress was met with a “I don’t make the rules” she (my mother in law) also asked about a senior discount after their entire experience and the waitress said “oh yeah we do that” so my mother in law asked if that could be applied after this whole ordeal. The woman came back a few minutes later and said “it would be like a few bucks off so here’s a five” overall it really left a bad taste in all our mouths. Unfortunately with the increased cost of eating out food alone can no longer carry an establishment. Service and good business practices can make or break you and with what we experience we will not be making a trip back.
Also there was two seemly homeless people openly drinking a pint of cheap vodka by the door and had spilled it so it reeked of cheap booze when we walked our kids into the establishment. Although it isn’t the restaurants fault it’s not a good look. Maybe that should have be our cue to leave right there to save us the trouble we went though tonight.

Went to wrought iron and they weren’t open so I came to tanglewood. I was greeted by Lori and she was pleasant from the first hello to check out. She was attentive to my drink and my plate. Wasn’t overly pushy and wasnt absent. Absolutely perfect service and I hope to see her again.

I had dinner with Dad at Tanglewood tonight. Lore was our server and she was prompt, attentive, very helpful and very kind. We never waited and she refilled drinks without us asking. The Reuben was excellent, and the coconut shrimp were hot, large, and tasty. We will be back for the great service and food!

food is absolutely awesome. cooked to perfection. we had the fish dinner. we ordered an extra piece because itbwas 2 piece dinner…..the pieces were huge did jot need the extra piece. our server laury was absolutely awesome. Definitely recommend this place.

I went with a friend for lunch today 5/31/25 and as soon as we were seated, we were met by a friendly gentlemen, who informed us that he was the new owner and Welcomed us there as he could probably tell we had never been there before because we were looking around. He told me they cook with healthier options other than grease and about a future pasta dish coming soon and it definitely sounded like something I would try! We ordered The fettuccine, I added chicken in mine and my friend added shrimp, we both thought they were delicious. I am very picky about my Alfredo sauce, so I was skeptical about ordering this, but it turned out to be really good and it was a pretty large portion and I’m excited that I have leftovers in my fridge lol he brought us a fresh roll, complimentary as it didn’t come with the meal. Although I believe it should because that was the finishing touch to our meal. Our waitress was very tentative and friendly. Prices were good and they compare to other places in the area. The dining area was clean and the staff kept busy the entire time we were there. I recommend 10/10. The only thing that I’m disappointed about is not going to this place sooner!

The food was cold and completely unappetizing. Our waitress was rude and clearly in a rush to leave our table. She actually walked away mid-order, and when our food arrived incorrect, she again hurried off without addressing the issue.
This was our first and last visit.
The only positive was the live music, which we did enjoy—but unfortunately, that was the only highlight.

The place was very quiet and empty when I went there. Service was fast and good. Very good food. Would recommend to anyone that hasn’t been here. Prices aren’t to bad either which is a plus.
