WE REALLY LIKE THEIR DAKINE PIZZA; HOWEVER, EVEN AFTER 2 YRS AND INFORMING THEM 3 X THAT THE WEBSITE STILL SHOWS IT FOR $12.99. IT IS STILL NOT CORRECTED. IT WAS MOST AWKWARD THE FIRST TIME, BECAUSE I WENT IN WITH A $20, THINKING IT WAS $12.99 PLUS TAX. IT WAS $22+, SO I HAD TO GO TO MY ATM DOWN THE ROAD TO GET MORE CASH. IT IS GOOD PIZZA, BUT SINCE THEY SEEM TO BE TO INDIGNANT TO UPDATE THEIR PRICES, WE HAVEN’T EATEN THERE FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS. WE HOPED WITH THE NEW OWNERSHIP IT WOULD BE UPDATED…..BUT APPARENTLY NOT. THANK GOODNESS NOW THERE IS ANOTHER PIZZA PLACE IN WEAVERVILLE.

In Weaverville, this place has super friendly service. Tangle Blue Saloon might seem small at first, but this is just the bar/pool room. Another room adjoins triple the size, with additional outside seating twice as large. Shown is one of their once a week specials, chicken fried chicken, and their everyday Tangle Blue signature salad, it is a huge meal by itself. Great selection of tap beers. Their burgers and fries are worth the menu pick, they serve it with a knife, too cut in half for easier eating. Pizza is excellent. I even have had their Gyros, twice now, and will order it again. Quality food, superior service and tasty drinks is why I keep returning.

Sit out back! Watch the waterfall, the firepit, sit by the wood stove in the cooler temperatures or under the fans in the warmer weather. Order a BBQ jalapeño bacon cheese burger with an egg! And get a top shelf quality drink from the bartenders (especially Matt). Great prices and eagerly pleasant servers.

I have checked out a couple of bars and restaurants in Weaverville and this one is on the top of the list. There is a handicapped ramp at the entrance and ample seating options for a wheelchair.
The place is spacious and welcoming. The service was great as was the drinks. I had a Bloody Mary and it was one of the best that I have had in a while. It was beautifully garnished and the vodka was well balanced with the slightly spicy mix. There are pool tables and other bar games. This seems more like a hang out bar than a restaurant that also serves drinks. I have heard nothing but good things about Tangle Blue and plan on coming back soon.

Outstanding out of the way eatery. We enjoyed the outdoor dining and the lamb gyro was great. The water pond and koi fish were a nice bonus.

Hubby and I drove in from the he lake for lunch. Speciality is wood fire pizza. For starter, we shared hand dipped onion rings. Delicious. Very crispy. Onion wasn’t slimy. He had chicken strips and fries. Said they were good. I had the combination pizza. This is a very thin crust pizza. Not at all what I expected. If I had known it was thin crust, I would have ordered something else. Now, I did not leave hungry as it did taste good. But not a lots of toppings as the crust won’t handle a lot. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Hoped for something more.

We have stopped here several times while passing through Weaverville. The first time it was late and we were hungry, and Weaverville doesn’t have a lot of options. BUT, this place was such a pleasant surprise! We shared one of the best pizzas ever! Another time we stopped while passing through, set on pizza, but their pizza oven was down. We each had a different burger option, and the burgers were amazing! This little eatery in this little town really seems to have their flavors together! Last two visits were salads for me, and the ingredients were super fresh. Their house vinaigrette is also amazing! Definitely recommend and will definitely be stopping by anytime were through Weaverville at a meal time. Last couple of times they were cash only, and they do have an ATM on site. Such good food!
