Tangiers has the most delicious Mediterranean food around, especially for take out. The desserts are to die for, especially the Baklava, which is made by the mother of the young men running the business. The atmosphere is lovely. Many customers return daily, and the manner in which they are received is truly lovely.

This is a marketplace with a small dine in area – counter seating with a few tables. The food here is what I believe to be very authentic, and I come here repeatedly because it is so good. My usual is a gyro along with stuffed grape leaves with lamb and rice filling. I also get some of the best baklava for a tasty ending to the meal. Plus, while I am waiting for the food to be cooked I wander the store for some other wonderful delights to bring home and eat later.

My experience here was really good. Staff are very friendly & accommodating. Staff takes time to speak with customers. Atmosphere was also good. Not loud and the place was clean. food… Now the food was AMAZINGLY GOOOD!!!!!!. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. I will DEFINITELY go back!

Tangiers is a market that has middle eastern/Mediterranean staples. From hummus to grape leaves, Tangier has it all. The highlight of this market is the grill located in the back of the market. The lamb gyro was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The falafel is my favorite item on the menu. So flavorful you would forget it was vegetarian. The sandwiches are $8 but worth every penny.
