I had a spare of the moment craving for lamb made simply and their lamb gyro satisfied this craving for me. I’ve known of this place for years and had never been until this day. There are many other specialties in this store. The people here are humble and kind. I will return. Thank you.

The store itself is clean and well-arranged, but the hot food section is a complete rip-off. I ordered a gyro and a side of falafel and was shocked when the total came out to nearly $25. There are no prices listed on the menu and I wasn’t given a receipt, which is a huge red flag. The food itself was incredibly disappointing. The gyro was stuffed mostly with filler veggies, and the meat seemed like a pre-frozen sheet just warmed up on the grill. The falafel was crispy on the outside but completely raw and undercooked on the inside. Honestly, an experience like this makes me question if the high ratings here are genuine. Skip the food counter.

i’m sorry but it literally doesn’t get better then this. peak food experience. the falafel wrap is like a bite of heaven, i am now unable to get falafel anywhere else because it’s just so pathetic compared to these. be sure to call in advance to order, and i’ve never seen a staff who looks like they love their job more. all of them are rays of sunshine. and let’s not even talk about the actual grocery selection. the 7 layer halva is a must buy whenever I go. beautiful atmosphere. i’m still in awe that the best falafel i’ve had is somehow in connecticut of all places

Stopped in for a small bite – great selection of groceries. We picked up a falafel wrap, chicken pita, and tabbouleh. Absolutely delicious, hit the spot.

Highly recommend, will stop by next time in town

Been coming here for years, always great service and food.
The falafel sandwich is delicious I always get it with hot sauce and no onions.
Baba Ganouj is creamy and tangy served with a good portion of bread, and the hummus as well.
As you can see in the pictures the selection of foods from all over the Middle East is amazing from olives to pots and pans.
The outside seating area is beautiful. on sunny day it makes you feel like you are on the beach.
Store is clean and food selection is great.

Can’t believe I lived so close for five years and never came here I’ll Make sure and start coming more often. Great selection of fine and hard to find foods and more importantly a kitchen in the back. Very yummy and good service and top quality.

Popped in for the first time and was not disappointed. I got a pint of their yellow lentil and potato soup with a toasted pita. I am trying not to eat the whole soup in one sitting, so tasty!

There seemed to be a lot of happy regulars inside, the employees were so kind and remembered them all by name.

Thank you for a great experience, I’ll be back for a spicy wrap I saw someone eating 🙂

Tangiers is a market that has middle eastern/Mediterranean staples. From hummus to grape leaves, Tangier has it all. The highlight of this market is the grill located in the back of the market. The lamb gyro was perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. The falafel is my favorite item on the menu. So flavorful you would forget it was vegetarian. The sandwiches are $8 but worth every penny.

These are the best falafel in the history of falafel!! I’ve had falafel in London, D. C., NYC, Texas and these are still hands down, the best!! The new location is bright clean and organized. The owners are so kind and friendly. They are passionate about their food. I was told that this was an old family recipe. 10/10 highly recommend
