I’ve been craving authentic Korean comfort food, and this seolleongtang hit the spot perfectly! The soup was rich, creamy, and simmered to perfection—you could taste the hours of care in every sip. The tender beef and chewy noodles paired so well with the mild, savory broth. The service was warm and fast, making the whole experience even better. This is now my go-to spot for a cozy, satisfying meal. 10/10 would recommend!

Came in for lunch. Nice quiet place. Plenty of parking outside. They have alot of option on the menu. Ordered Soodubu and Boosam. No complaints. Seafood Soondubu- Came with mini shrimp and oyster. Also crab and one jumbo shrimp. I like my seafood normal size. Just preference. 7/10-
Boosam- Nice tender pork sliced. I enjoyed this dish very much. Problem is it was only lunchtime. I over stuffed myself. Serving is big enough for 2-3 people. Will definitely come back 10/10

You’re in need of some authentic Korean cuisine. That’s not a question, it’s simply a fact. Tang’s is a place you need to visit. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. From the moment we walked in, to when we left, they checked in on us, helped us decide what to order when we had questions, and were all around very warm and welcoming. Then there is the food, delicious sides from the rice to the fish cakes and the kimchi. They even brought out extra kimchi which was quickly devoured. No cabbage was left on the table. We shared some tteobokki while waiting for our entrees and I was immediately taken back. Never have I experienced such a soft but still chewy rice cake of any kind. For our mains, I had some bulgogi because I was craving protein and my wife had the beef ribs soup. The bulgogi was great, but the broth from the soup was so flavorful. It was deep, rich, and clean. You could taste the beef, taste the radish, the elements combining without overpowering. We usually don’t go to the same place twice when we travel but we will be going back tomorrow for lunch.

The best Korean restaurant at the moment. High level of service and attention to match good prices.
Ajumma and ajoshi provide warm and friendly service, with English speaking. Comfortable environment for larger or smaller groups, with dividers which is always helpful.
Common dishes range $14-20. Dduk soup/mandu soup is my recommendation. Kalbi tang was really good, with lots of meat. Our family had fish soup as non-spicy, and it’s great they can accommodate. We also enjoyed bone broth soup. Can’t wait to try bibbimbap (and kalbi/bulgoggi) next time. Right now is soup weather, so the varieties are perfect for cold season in Chicago. Serving sizes are huge.
Easy to miss because it’s between giant store signs. Just come all the way inside the lot/mall, conveniently in the middle area where there’s more parking.
Hope this helps! Stay warm.

I had a wonderful dining experience at your restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic Korean flavors and beautifully presented. Every dish was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our visit.
Manager Keith deserves special recognition for his professionalism and hospitality. He checked in to make sure everything was perfect and made us feel truly valued as guests. It’s rare to see that level of care and attention to detail.
Thank you for an exceptional meal and outstanding service — I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending your restaurant to friends and family!

I went there hungry after a long day of work, and the woman there was incredibly accommodating. The food was outstanding—it’s the best japchae I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what kind of rice they serve (maybe wild rice?), but it was absolutely delicious. I also ordered the king donkatsu, and it’s one of the best katsu dishes I’ve ever had.
They also serve complimentary hot tea, which was tasty and very soothing. I will definitely come back! I highly encourage everyone to come eat here.

Our server Keith was very helpful, helped explain the menus. The food is amazing, smells so good and of course taste as good as it smells. I had the ox bone soup. Shared with Korean seafood pancakes and steam pork belly.

Service is good. Food is lower than my expectation. Kinda too expensive for this quality of food.. the food itself is not bad though! I just don’t think it’s worth my money and my stomach.
Tried the Jokbal too plain. Also the dogani tang (ox bone and beef tendon soup) beef tendon is good quality but the soup is too plain.
