I was in the area around lunchtime and visited with a work group. At first glance, the interior felt tired and somewhat unkempt. There were no clearly displayed prices, and we were told the buffet cost $14. After briefly checking the regular menu — where most dishes were noticeably more expensive — we all opted for the buffet.
Unfortunately, the buffet offering was very limited. There were only two meat dishes, both chicken: a standard chicken curry and a chicken tikka masala, neither of which had much depth of flavour. There was a saag paneer, a vegetable biryani, and a so-called chicken biryani — though finding any actual chicken in it was a challenge. There was also fried, bone-in chicken tikka and a mixed vegetable curry that included potatoes which were hard, undercooked, and stone cold.
Cleanliness was another concern. The dining area didn’t feel particularly clean, and visiting the restroom after the meal only reinforced that impression — I should have washed my hands on the way out instead.
Food temperature was especially worrying. None of the dishes were properly hot, merely lukewarm at best. We stayed for over an hour, yet no fresh or hot food was brought out to replenish the buffet. Ironically, the only genuinely warm item we received was the naan bread served to the table, which was decent.
Throughout our meal, the repeated sound of a microwave beeping in the background didn’t inspire much confidence either.
Given all of this, I’m genuinely surprised I didn’t walk away with an upset stomach. With so many good Indian restaurants in the area, this one, in my opinion, isn’t worth the time or the money.

Save your money and go elsewhere.
I had an incredible experience at Tandoorish. From the moment I walked in, the warm atmosphere and welcoming staff set the tone for a fantastic meal. Every dish was rich in flavor, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. The Paneer Tikka Masala was creamy and tender, the vegetable biryani was fragrant and full of depth, and the fresh garlic naan was the best I’ve had in a long time.
Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff were happy to offer great recommendations. You can really tell that everything is made with care and authenticity.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, this place is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
First not traditional Indian.
The samosas are more of a samosa concept. Vindaloo is a traditional meal and one easy to make. I got 8 pieces of potatoes not completely cooked through and 5 pieces of lamb over cooked. The sauce had ZERO flavor. It legitimately tasted like a can of enchilada sauce (you know the one) there were those 3 things no seasoning. My Mel was 18.99. My girlfriend’s was 12.99 We had to drinks for 2.99. Garlic nan 2.99 and a poor idea of lassi. It tasted like mango powder blended with vinegar. All in all the worst place I’ve ever eaten. She automatically added a tip for 2 people and one child who didn’t eat there ???? and some how the above mentioned items equaled roughly $90 odd dollars. The empty lot should’ve been clue enough.
The service was ok. She was nice but I can’t be nice about cheating people, the half asses meal , or the silverware that dropped on the floor but they didn’t want. Heard the noise no more after after just the sounds of pits continuing to bang and food being cooked. Obviously make your own idea of this place but I’d save the time from bad food , ok service, and literally terrible food. It’s not being mean it was so bad. 30+ mins for whatever they gave us and then overcharging because you’re not able to get the clientele is insane.
Allegedly vindaloo featured below —>
Mind you this upon initial unboxing. That’s exactly how much of the meal I was provided. So above numbers were actually hella generous.
She got curry. Straight trash.
