Social Profile:

Since opening our first location in the heart of Cache Valley in 2004, Tandoori Oven quickly became a local favorite offering a warm and inviting atmosphere for family dinners, lunch with co-workers, or a romantic evening with that special someone. In July 2013, by consistently offering fresh, high-quality Indian cuisine, we opened a second location, enchanting the palate of Idaho Falls, ID. We offer a wide array of chicken, lamb, seafood, vegetarian and vegan options of our delicately spiced curries and masalas along with the rustic grilled flavors from our clay tandoor oven. Our menu of exotic spices and luscious sauces grabbed the attention of traveling Food Network guru Guy Fieri to be featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.

Familiar Indian dishes such as butter chicken & lamb tikka masala served in contemporary surrounds.

Simply amazing. These guys represent Indian Food very well in Idaho Falls. To be honest, it’s quite pricey, but it’s often worth it. In a more easily accessible location, just off of Hirt Rd, it’s easy to get to from just about anywhere. They always greet you at the door and you can get seated quickly. Take my advice, try the butter chicken and sweet naan. Great combination.

It was a great experience, the service was pleasant, refills and availability was on point. Also, I absolutely love the spicy lamb curry! I tried the sweet naan for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with how good it paired with my dish! I recommend IF Tandoori Oven to anyone who likes food!

My new favorite restaurant! I had the spinach soup and the lamb biryani. The spinach soup was the BEST soup I think I have EVER had! It was an absolute exposion of flavor, with depth from the toasted cumin, a warm heat that was just perfect, a little tanginess from the lemon, and so much lovely freshness from the cilantro and tomato! The lamb in my biryani was tender with a mild, almost buttery flavor (distinctly lamb, but not at all gamey like lamb I have had elsewhere), the rice was perfectly spiced (and used actual star anise, which I also have not seen in other Indian restaraunts). The naan & house made yogurt sauce was so good! Great date night. Good service. Tandoori Oven– thank you for existing!

We wanted Indian food. This place was the decision. The service was good. Employees were friendly. Food was served quickly and tasted good. The extra spicy was a good amount.

The service was good. It’s a lovely little place. I had the Keena Samosas, mild Chicken Coconut Kurma, and Garlic Naan. The Samosas were good but on the smallish side and Naan was good, but the Chicken Coconut Kurma was just ok might be better at medium spice but as it was my first time here, I was unsure of their base spice level. The Samosas come with 2 but I ate one before taking the picture.

Small Indian restaurant tucked away off 25th and Sunnyside. The food was great. Flavors were excellent, super large servings, you may want to share. Service was also super. Sadly there is no lunch special, so even though that’s what we were looking for we got to pay for the full meal. 15.99 to 18.99 each plus starters or Naan 4.99, plus any drinks and desert. But we were also served the whole meal. Great seasonings with options for mild, medium, or hot. There are menu options for vegetarian as well as chicken, lamb, and seafood. Rice comes with everything, but it isn’t authentic rice, it’s more like minute rice, so certainly not the highlight.

Excellent dinner, the best I’ve had so far on this work trip! I had the Tandoori lamb, garlic ginger naan, and spinach soup. The lamb was basically Indian “fajitas” (onions and peppers with lamb, but with Indian spices and cooking methods). It was excellent how simple of a dish could be so delicious.

The service was exceptional. Very attentive, helpful, and courteous.

I highly recommend this place!

This was the best food I have had all month! I had the Chicken Coconut Kurma and it was divine! I loved the subtle flavors. They have four levels of spice, Mild, Medium, Spicy, and Very Spicy. I really like the Spicy it is a perfect combination of flavor and spice!

The food is always good. But I’m not a fan of the service. We went one time on a date night and they lost our order, so we sat there for almost an hour waiting. We eventually asked what was going on until they realized they lost our order. The place wasn’t even that busy. This made us miss our main date night activity.
But again, the food is great. I just recommend you get takeout. I’ll probably rarely come back now that Himalayan Flavor is in town.

It was the best tasting chicken curry I have ever had! It was my husband’s, so I only had a taste so I can’t wait to get my own next time! Fresh naan bread, everything was great!
