Unassuming Indian eatery serving classic fare off the menu & in a lunch buffet.

Solid spot for Indian food The portion sizes were fair for the price but its downtown Seattle, so its to be expected. Everything was well seasoned though, and the food came out quickly. Our meal was about $80 after tax for 2 curries, 1 appetizer, 1 naan dish, and 1 rice dish.

I really love Tandoori Hut, the food is always delicious, full of flavor, and they always make my chai just right! The service is always wonderful! No matter if I’m ordering takeout or dinning in.. It’s like stepping into a friend/family home. They’re always so warm, kind, and generous.

I live upstairs and have smelled the food being prepared for years daily but never thought to check it out until tonight. Wow, what a pleasant surprise. Delicious and fresh cuisine, friendly service and a very stylish restaurant – all here in Belltown. I will definitely return!

I haven’t been there for a while and I felt that may have changed owner/chef? The food doesn’t taste as good (still very decent) and they changed their dish container.
Very nice staff.
No central AC but they do their best to keep you cool on a hot day.

We went in on Christmas day for dinner on a whim, and it turned out to be such a wonderful experience. The food was homely and rich with spices, and the service was equally warm. We got free potato pastries (aloo?) as an appetizer, and ordered some garlic and basil naan and butter chicken on the waitresses’s recommendation. The naan was fluffy and seasoned perfectly; it somehow manages to taste good both alone and dipped in the butter chicken sauce. We also got basmati rice on the house, and with all the generous Christmas freebies we ended up having a box full of leftovers that fed us well a few days later. The food is great, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fun and homey – I highly recommend coming here for a meal!

I had such a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff were so warm and kind, making the cozy atmosphere feel even more inviting.
I ordered the butter chicken, paneer pakora, and the Keema naan, and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and comforting, and the portions were generous especially for the price, which felt very reasonable for the quality and amount of food.
The team mentioned that they recently switched ownership, and I can honestly say they’re doing a fantastic job. I’m really excited to come back, and I can’t wait to bring my friends here to share the experience.
If you’re in Belltown and craving amazing Indian food with genuine hospitality, this is a spot you don’t want to miss!
