Ordered Butter Chicken & naan. Tastes good. Huge serving of rice!! Constructive criticism……don’t cook the naan so long as it was burned on edges, & nix the onion in the butter chicken or don’t put so much. Overwhelming. Of the many Indian restaurants I’ve been to across the U.S. as a trucker, no one has ever put onion in butter chicken. Just lessen the amount a little. Otherwise, good dinner

The food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and I even got a to go cup of water! The staff are very nice, it’s not too hot or too cold inside. It feels just right. It’s also nice and quiet and not very crowded. For first time goers, I highly recommend the chicken biryani. It is truly the best. Also, the chicken tikka masala, the naan, the rice, the vegetable pekora, the saag aloo, the potatoes and spinach, and the curry chicken are all good, too. And for dessert, the gulab jamun always hits the spot. As does the carrot halva and the kheer. If you love Indian Cuisine, then this restaurant is a must-go for your first trip to Rutherford County, Murfreesboro.

We have eaten here quite a few times. The food is delicious with a huge selection. Always fresh and warm. Service is good, difficult to understand sometimes, he talks fast. Very nice to speak with. I’ve never had any troubles with the parking either. Highly recommend.

My wife and I visited this restaurant on Sunday for lunch while visiting with my daughter, who is wheelchair bound. From the moment we arrived at the front door, the employees held the door and assisted us all inside while getting my daughter and wheelchair situated. The service was the best I have experienced in a sit down restaurant in a Very long time. They made all of us feel both welcome and at home. The food was great, and I cannot say enough great things about the entire experience! If the owner sees this review, Thank you VERY much for your hospitality during our visit!

Highly, HIGHLY recommend Tandoor Indian Restaurant if you’re looking for tasty Indian cuisine in the area!

My family and I arrived early and waited for them to open for dinner service. Surprisingly there was another family that were seated before us even though we only arrived maybe 5-10 minutes after they opened. That was a good sign to me that maybe they’re a decent spot.

Our server (forgot his name) was very attentive and made sure to come and check on us often. Although, I will say it was a little difficult to understand what he was saying at times since he had a thick accent. But we managed.

The food was definitely 5 star for us. My husband and I ordered the vegetable samosas, chicken tiki masala and garlic naan to share for our dinner. Everything was delicious and piping hot from the kitchen. We got medium spice on our curry and it had just the right amount of kick to it.

The only negative I will mention is that it was pretty warm in the restaurant. But that may be because we arrived almost right as they opened so maybe the AC was still kicking in. Other than that everything else during our experience, food and service, was five star!

Will definitely be back for more!

My wife and I had dinner here not too long ago. I have been to a number of authentic Indian/tandoori restaurant and this one makes the list. Really genuine Indian, too many things on the menu as is usually the case. I had a goat curry and garlic naan which was Prices are reasonable and the restaurant was nice and clean however, the ambience needs some work. It’s one big open room with no real separation between tables. The booth we were in was short and it didn’t feel very private. Food and service were very good though.

This is our favorite restaurant in Murfreesboro! We come at least once a week for dinner and Jay and his family and staff are the best people! The food is delicious and they always treat us so well. We have even had them cater several events and ordered a lot of to go orders as well and the food is always consistent and my favorite Indian food we’ve ever tried.

We just tried out this gem for the first time, and without question, will be back again! Tried out the mixed platter for an appetizer, and the portion sizes were plenty! Great side sauces as well, so flavorful and complimentary to the platter. I ordered the house special tea, and it was so aromatic!
For main meal, I ordered the saag paneer, and it was PHENOMENAL! It was beyond flavorful, super creamy and instantly became my new favorite dish! I got it on level 3 spicy, which had some good heat, but not so hot I couldn’t enjoy my meal. (But for the record, I do like spicy, so it might be too hot for low spice handlers) We also ordered the lamb vindaloo, which was so tasty too! We paired them with partha and garlic naan. 10/10 would recommend!
