In India, tandoori cooking was traditionally associated with Punjab as the Punjabis embraced the tandoor on a regional level and became popular in the mainstream after the 1947 partition when Punjabis resettled in places such as Delhi. In rural Punjab, it was common to have communal tandoors. Some villages still have a communal tandoor which is a common sight prior to 1947.

This is my favorite restaurant in Long Beach . The food is always fresh and delicious. Rjay is a quiet spoken gentleman who is very attentive and courteous. I love the fried onion/ fried cauliflower appetizers to start and have tried several different entrees that will not disappoint. I have posted few reviews but wanted to take the time to share such a wonderful and great place for awesome food. You won’t be sorry if you give them a try, I highly recommend .

Been coming to this place regularly for the past year and a half. Always order the same thing because it’s always perfect. Tandoori chicken wings and 2 orders of butter chicken. The wings are super juicy and made to perfection. The butter chicken is full of flavor and they are generous with the portions.
The two owners that are always here are super good guys. Always friendly. Great service.

We got the butter chicken with rosemary garlic naan. The butter chicken was pretty good just sweet not spicy which is fine just a note. The naan bread was tasty but a bit stale… fine when dipped in the curry though but not great

We came in here to have a light bite to eat and taste some bottles of wine for our wedding. They let us drink the wine with no corking fee. We only ordered apps but they were all delicious. Plenty of veg options on the menu. The service was good, the server was really nice and chatty. He loved hearing about our trip to Goa since he grew up in Goa. He made us chai masala off menu. Wheelchair accessible, but the bathroom is quite small and would not accommodate a wheelchair.

I came here on a busy Sunday night! The manager was also serving and helping out which was so nice to see management being hands-on. I like the thin paper-like roti or dosa thingy that has either geera or masala blended into it with dipping sauces. It opens your palette to eating.The food is absolutely delicious! It takes a lot to say this since most Indian restaurants foods’ lack flavor and excitement. Everything we ate was superb. The tandoori wings were charred to perfection. The butter chicken and vindaloo were all so creamy and flavorful. You could truly get a taste of India when you eat their food. The garlic naan is fresh and flavorful. The Kheer was ok, nothing to write home about. All in all, this restaurant carries some of the tastiest and delicious Indian food if you’re ever craving it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First time trying Indian food. I went with the safe option when ordering. The samosas were bursting with flavor. I loved the crunch. I wish it came with a dipping sauce. The butter chicken was creamy and tasty. The side of rice was fluffy and complimented the saucy butter chicken.

I recently ordered takeout from this location. The food was tasteful. I got the veggie curry. I would highly recommend it. But, if you’re a vegetarian and you’re feeling more hungry than usual, try ordering another item from the menu or take a look at their selection of drinks.
