We are a family-owned cafe that started in Easthampton in a beautifully renovated train depot in 2013. Since then, we have opened stores across the valley in Northampton, Hadley, Florence, and West Springfield. With a focus on fresh and delicious food, our bagels and pastries are baked daily in our Hadley bakery and transported to each of the cafes. Our house-whipped cream cheese is a staple for any cream cheese lover – fluffy, creamy, and we have multiple flavor options! Stopped in early in the morning and the staff were polite, friendly, and welcoming. The French Onion scone was so good and the latte was just the right temperature. Bagel was a bit to buttery for me but my overall experience was nice. I will be back to try other item and definitely to grab a scone and Latte.

This place exceeded my expectations!!! I love how cute and open the restaurant itself is. The ordering is speedy and straight to the point. Their selection of bagels is astounding, and the cream cheeses are to die for. Husband and I got asiago bagels, one with honey walnut cream cheese, and the other with chive!!! Very affordable and delicious. Will definitely be here often as a new bagel spot! Panera lost a couple of customers today!

I used to really like Tandem – the food was good, the service was good, and the coffee was good! I don’t know what happened, but it’s absolutely gone down hill. I visited today and ordered two breakfast sandwiches and two lattes for here. I took a seat with my number and waited. First, the gave us our food in a to go bag. Then, I asked for plates because we were eating in the restaurant and got an eye roll from the attendant. Next, our food was less than stellar. The Spicy sandwich had 1 piece of bacon and was scattered around the sandwich, and the Sweet sandwich had no maple syrup on it. Then, they brought us our coffees and the hot coffee I ordered came iced. My days of sticking up for Tandem are over. I used to come once a week and my order was perfect every time. What happened between then and now is beyond me, but I will be avoiding Tandem unless someone else is paying for it. Maybe not even then. Disappointing.

I’m here almost weekly and every single time the staff have been welcoming and professional, ordering is efficient, food comes quickly, and everything is delicious. The cafe is clean and comfortable. A big shout out to everyone who works there who make it such a great experience.

I typically enjoy their food. They have a food range of flavored bagels as well as smoothies, coffee and teas. Their matcha is always amazing! Sometimes their service can take a little while. I sat and waited approximately 30 minutes past the promised time for my food and it took those 30 minutes to make two drinks. Their toaster also is a little funky like it will burn the edges of the bagel but not toast anything else. I do like the food and I would definitely recommend I would just be prepared to wait a little

First time to Tandem Bagel Co. my husband and I love bagels, so we were super excited to try it. The bagels were VERY fresh. The sandwiches were not the best, but the bagels made up for it – we had a BLT and the home fry sandwich.
We bought some bagels to go as well. The cream cheese is delicious!! I had an Irish cream coffee (one of their specials) and it was delicious.
Staff was very polite and quick!

I wouldn’t be writing this review or giving this place a 2 star because their sandwiches are good but this is the second time I find a long piece of hair in my bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich. First time I notice it on the bagel, this time it was while I was eating it n I felt a piece of long hair in my mouth and I don’t have long hair. Maybe their employees in the kitchen should start wearing hair nets!

This pace isn’t good anyone it hasn’t been good for over a year now . Every time I order there’s something disappointing about this place burnt hash brown and lmy bacon was burnt as well. I don’t recommend this used to be good. I don’t know what happen.

Salted Maple Cream cold brew was delicious and so was my wild cheddar, bacon, egg and cheddar cheese bagel sandwich was sinfully good. So good, we got bagels and cream cheese to bring home.

Paid $25 for 3 bagels and a hot latte, waited 40 minutes, and when I asked for a refund the manager told me, “yours is next, but I can still refund you.” If that’s their idea of management, no wonder the place is a mess. A real manager would actually jump in and help the team instead of just standing there.
There’s only one latte machine—fine—but people ordering black coffee or hot chocolate could’ve easily been handled to keep the line moving. Instead, everyone was drowning in orders while the manager just barked reminders.
And the best part? When my latte finally came up, it was wrong. I asked for hot and got iced. I walked out. I’ve visited most of the Tandem spots and never had an experience this bad.
They need better management—someone who works like a team member, not someone who watches the chaos and does nothing.
