Hands down the best Vietnamese food I have had in Austin. The vermicelli bowl is outstanding, spring rolls are very fresh, and the best fish and peanut sauces ever. I highly recommend this establishment.

Bun bo hue here is legit. It includes all of the meats including the steamed blood! Ask for mam ruoc and chili if you want the full experience.
Ca phe sua da also really hit the spot here. Service was attentive from the friendly owner and he checked in on me to make sure I had everything I needed.
Coming from the bay area and living in Dallas for the past few years, it is tough to find Viet spots like this in Austin the past few times I’ve visited. Highly recommend this no frills restaurant.

Excellent pho. Some of the best I’ve had, definitely top tier in Austin areas. The broth and meats have more flavor than other Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to in Austin. If you want some good soup, this is the place

This place has a family restaurant feel to it. The customer service is friendly and just about everyone checks to make sure everything is ok and your happy. We ordered 2 large and 2 small bowls of pho and springrolls. The place was packed with people and the pho came out super fast. The broth was steaming hot and the beef slice in a good portion and fresh. The broth was not cloudy. We were definitely satisfied with the overall service and pho taste. We had just landed in Austin, Tx and chose this place to try. It is worth to try if your in Austin, tx.

The service is like family. Fast. Delicious. And the is high diversity of patrons. Everyone knows it’s good. I always order the pho but try to branch out every other visit or so.

Oh my word…. Absolutely incredible!!! We moved here a year ago from southeast Texas, where we have an AMAZING selection of Vietnamese food. I also have some native Vietnamese in my family, so I’m no stranger to food, authentic Vietnamese.
Let me tell you, Tan My has filled the void that moving away from home left! This food is out of the park good. I got the vermicelli bowl with pork & an egg roll, my favorite. And it was phenomenal. No notes!
The staff is friendly, quick, and attentive. I am always craving Tan My and looking forward to my next visit!

The food itself was delicious. I got a large pho bowl #9 with brisket and it was amazing. Probably top 3 in Austin in my opinion. Their dining room hours did change though so I had to take my food to go and eat in my car. Wish I knew their updated dining hours prior to driving out there. That’s the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

Visiting Austin and realize it’s hard to find good Vietnamese food around here let alone authentic. So if you’re looking for good authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place! This is family run and owned. Everyone here is very friendly, attentive and quick. Good spot to grab a quick bite (especially if you have a sudden craving). Clean inside and can fit large groups. Their signature Bun Bo Hue is very flavorful and not too salty like a lot of other places.

THE FOOD HERE IS SO DELICIOUS!! But sadly As someone who owns a business, I strongly believe professionalism and basic courtesy are essential in customer service. Unfortunately, that standard was not met during my experience here.
The owner’s daughter was not professional at all. She approached our table without greeting us or acknowledging us in any way. My family and I were respectful and thanked her for taking our order, yet she did not respond. This lack of communication and courtesy made the environment feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
When running a business, professionalism should be maintained at all times, regardless of who is working the floor. Customer service sets the tone for the entire experience, and sadly, this visit reinforced why I had stopped coming for years.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely phenomenal!
I ordered the Phở Tái, Chín and it was perfect from the first sip to the last. The broth was incredibly rich and aromatic, with that deep, slow-simmered flavor you only get from a kitchen that really cares. The eye round steak and brisket were tender and beautifully balanced, and the fresh herbs, onions, and lime on the side made every bite customizable and vibrant.
I also tried the Hủ Tiếu Xào Giòn Thập Cẩm, and it was a knockout. The crispy rice noodles held up perfectly under the savory garlic sauce, and the mix of chicken, beef, shrimp, and vegetables was generous and cooked with real attention—no shortcuts, just bold flavor and great texture.
To top it off, the homemade lemonade was refreshing, bright, and the ideal palate cleanser. Not too sweet, not too tart—just right.
Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully made, and absolutely satisfying. I’d come back for any of these dishes in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!
