This is one of my go to Vietnamese restaurant. It’s a hole in the wall place between San Gabriel and Rosemead area. I always come in when I am craving for comfort food.
The family dinner is always my go to order. Chicken salad is very refreshing. Cat fish soup is sour and a bit spicy, but it is surprisingly smoothing! The clay pot fish is the best, and I always request for more source! The fish was never over cooked. The fish and the source are perfectly match.
I am not a big fan of bo luc lac. The meat was very dry, and portion was small. Not worth the money you pay.
Restaurant is clean, and staff are attentive. Service was fast. Just don’t expect very nice ambient, and friendly staff who will chat with you. Will continue to support local business.

Love these authentic vietnamese dishes that I can’t make at home, at least the stewed fish. So good. Prices are reasonable, especially the dinner combos. Can’t beat $25 for two people. Credit cards accepted. Lastly they gave us free dessert!

Visited this restaurant many times in the past 10+ years. Price and serving portion are good. Tastes are great. Service wide, the guests have to be patient with the waitresses. The young waiter, works evening shift only, is friendly with humor.

Great place for family style Vietnamese meals. Canh Chua, Ca Kho, and Shrimp Hot Pot. Also love their free dessert and free pickled mustard greens.

Yummy Vietnamese food with family special deals. They’re known for their Canh Cua, a Vietnamese Sour Soup that comes in a hot pot. It is delicious! It’s slightly sour and sweet from the pineapple and tomato they add, and there is okra and some other Vietnamese herbs. It comes with either shrimp or catfish. Pairs really well with their side dishes too – you can choose from caramelized pork or catfish in a clay pot.
We got the two person family special with the Catfish Canh Cua and the Thit Koh (Caramelized Claypot Braised Pork). It came with rice and a side of chicken salad plus pickled veggies. The catfish was very soft, and the caramelized pork pairs nicely with the soup and rice. The food was delicious and well balanced with ample veggies and protein. The two of us still could not finish everything as it was a good portion. All of this was only 25 bucks.
There is a small parking lot in the back with ample space

Love this whole in the wall Vietnamese joint. Family ran and food is absolutely so cheap and good. Love their fried fish with the nước mắm. And I finally gave their stir fried clams a try which took me back to Vietnam. Love their chè as well. Whenever I feel Vietnamese food but don’t want to cook, I always go here.

Food came out quick, fish was good, even though I’m not a huge fan of eating fish. For 6 people, the meal only cost us a little over $40 not including tip. If you want fresh authentic Vietnamese fish/seafood dishes, check this place out.
