My husband and I ate here on a Thursday night, where we were seated right away. Food quality is great, though a bit on the bland side, but you can adjust by adding cumin or spice powder to your liking. The lamb, beef and even the chicken skewers were juicy and the bbq charcoal flavor was outstanding. We went a bit crazy by ordering a spicy lamb soup pot, rice and a bunch of skewers, and ended up taking some leftovers home. We like the vibe and it’s definitely good for hanging out with friends but knowing that it’s just a bit pricier.

I visited this restaurant last Thursday night and was really looking forward to it, but the experience was extremely disappointing. I was overcharged by a female server. The receipt showed the name “Nancy”, though I’m not sure if that’s her name.
After paying, I asked for a receipt, but she only gave me one without any itemized details. When I went back to question her, she claimed the restaurant was new and she wasn’t familiar with the system. However, she immediately printed out a correct receipt, which clearly showed she knew exactly what she had done. Her excuse was obviously false — it was a deliberate overcharge.
I suspect she intended to transfer the extra amount as a tip for herself. This kind of dishonest behavior seriously damages customer trust, especially for a new restaurant. I truly hope the management takes this issue seriously and ensures no other customers experience the same.

I used to go to the Chinese skewer restaurant in Bellevue but they recently closed down and I was so happy to see a new one open closer to where I live! I know it says kebob bar and it might throw some people off but this place is definitely one of the best Chinese skewer restaurants I’ve tried in Washington!! I think more people should give them a try because their ingredients are high quality and the price is so good for a restaurant of this concept. The owner is also very kind and welcoming so make sure you support this restaurant! Get the spam fried rice and all the skewers are so so good!
