Yesterday I had the privilege of visiting this restaurant and to start with the customer service by a beautiful Brazilian lady was wonderful and then I had the honor of greeting a Japanese compatriot who works hard in the kitchen area and what to say about the food that despite being a fusion with Japanese Peruvian food was a delight!!! This place is 1000% recommendable! I hope to come back soon as I was very pleased to be there and feel at home. Thank you Tampopo people!

Don’t be deceived by the photos, there is no ramen here. The Food though was great and properly seasoned…I would have given 4 stars if only they arrived on time. It took us 1 hour from ordering to get our plates. They did give us some complimentary drinks though.

Well, the food here is delicious. They have some unique items and thus different taste. But, the price is expensive! It is about 20% expensive than other top rated sushi restaurants. The service is good, although the sushi delivery is unlike other sushi restaurants! Each item is put separately in a dish. They don’t have any special touch in their plates. The food area is small, when the place is crowded, the atmosphere will be a little bit uncomfortable, especially with the loud music being played.

The ramen was simply excellent. I have been to takumi and takezo in Düsseldorf. Tampopo is just as good, if not better. Wonderful cloudy savoury soup base, great noodle consistency and I love the extra touch of pickled Ginger. I will be back!

We used to visit this place regularly about four years ago, and it was always excellent! However, when we went back today under the new ownership, we were pretty disappointed with the Tonkotsu Ramen. The broth was incredibly watered down and lacked flavor, there was way too much onion, and the meat was tough and chewy. The presentation was lacking, and the chili oil was unexpectedly and overwhelmingly spicy.

Nice atmosphere, kind service, but im sorry, it has to be said … the prices and what you get on the plate doesnt make any common sense. 22eur for a plate with potatoes, onion, a bit of meat and rice as side or 17eur for a bit of rice and chewy duck are the reasons we will sadly not return to Tampopo anytime soon. If you are wondering, they dont serve ramen anymore for some time.
