If you are a diner fan, you’ll like Tammy’s. The service was excellent. My breakfast was average (the hash browns were room temp, the gravy on the biscuit was warm but not hot and did not taste homemade, the over easy eggs were perfect). My wife’s burger and fries were quite good. Coffee was pretty decent.

My hubby and I stopped by this morning to get a country breakfast, we ordered 1 bowl of grits, 1 bowl of gravy, 2 fries and a biscuit and we had water to drink, this cost 23 dollars and some change, the grits were cold and lumpy enough to make cornbread, we have never been so disappointed with a meal. Great home-cooking diner! Been there a few times, the fried trout special was delicious! I was impressed! The cabbage and pickled beets were tasty, healthy, side options. Great value for $! Consistently good burgers and fries!!! I’m so glad Tammy’s is in the Danville, Sutherlin, Ringgold area!

An ex convenience store turned into the cutest diner. Staff was friendly and sweet. The food was home cooked greatness. We had a very filling, tasty breakfast. Definitely will stop again when passing through the area.

Definitley will not be going back. The price for what you got was absolutely ridiculous, didn’t help the fried foods were burnt and barely edible. Was missing a whole plate of food, but after seeing the quality of food brought to the table we just had it removed from the ticket. So disappointing.

If I have a choice, probably will not eat here again. a meal for 2 adults and one child came out to $46 after a moderate tip – utterly insane pricing for the level of food, even given the current economic climate. I could drive into town for similar & better food and spend less than $30. Simply not worth it.
The food is fine – neither particularly great or especially awful. hamburger patties are inoffensive, homemade chips are ok, fries are ok, buns are very cheap. ranch sauce served with fries and chips is quite good though.
Server was not unfriendly, not particularly great either.
Atmosphere… the building looks like it was an old concrete shed they slapped a few layers of spare paint in, with seemingly random decorations from hobby lobby.
Overall the building, service, and food quality simply do not justify the mind-bogglingly high prices Tammy’s Diner charges for their food. I truly wish I could be more kind, I prefer to support locally owned businesses wherever possible, but I can’t recommend this place.

Great atmosphere, very clean and nicely decorated. Plan on stopping in more as this was first visit. Have great looking specials every day and will definitely be going back. Also had some nice looking desserts on display. Very appealing little cozy diner off the beaten path and worth a trip.

I didn’t find the food to be anything special. Grilled cheese and soup. The soup was ok but the grilled cheese was flat with little flavor. It needs a better bread that doesn’t go flat like a layer of dough.
