Tamarindos seems to be getting better with time, which is pretty impressive since it’s been excellent from the beginning! There is no shortage of Latin and Mexican options in Mount Kisco, but this is is the one you must visit.
Have been coming here for years and it never disappoints – super fresh ingredients, killer drinks, great service. A little higher end than your average, they have some of the reliable basics to choose from but tons of unique and innovative creations too. Beautiful plating and great happy hour prices.
Big parking lot behind the restaurant is easily accessible through their back entrance.
Posting some pictures of visits there over the years. If you haven’t tried Tamarindos yet please go!

The wings, the Empanadas, the Margaritas, the Staff all equal a great visit! Happy Hour truly is happy here.
Had a birthday celebration with approximately 14 people and they were incredibly accommodating in seating arrangements. Every single person raved about the food. From tacos to Carne, it was delicious! The drinks were made well and the staff attentive. They just opened but I believe with food this good, they will be a staple of the town for years to come.

Delicious food, friendly service, and great atmosphere. The outdoor patio is really nice on a warm day. Server forgot our drinks but made up for it with great service and absolutely delicious food and wonderful presentation. The steak is great and the bean soup is incredible.

Tamarindos in Mount Kisco is a hidden jewel of Northern Westchester. Tucked next to the Key Bank on East Main Street and just down from the JPM Chase at the corner of East Main and South Moger Avenue, you might not notice it from the street unless you get stuck waiting for the traffic signal. We first realized it was there when we heard upbeat Latin music as we passed by on one of our many walks around Mount Kisco. The delicious aroma of Mexican cuisine wafted around us as we perused the menu they conveniently placed on a stand by the curbside. It was nearly irresistible, but we had to get back home. It took another couple trips before we made it a point to allow enough time for a sit down meal and we were absolutely delighted with the experience. Camarones al ajillo, enchiladas mole and asado de la casa were the main dishes on our first visit. We did takeout a few weeks later and ordered the enchiladas bandera, steak quesadillas and another round of the camarones al ajillo. We sat down again on our third visit a few weeks after that and dove head first into their enchiladas de camaron, while the asado de la casa and camarones al ajillo filled out the rest of our table. Appetizers like their empanadas, coconut shrimp and house wings got us started off each time and we finished off with delicious churros and flan. I could go on and on, but that would only delay your enjoyment of this savory and satisfying blend of authentic flavors and inventive inspirations.

I had rosé and cherries. Super great combination. I also had their guacamole and it was amazing. I had ordered two orders of the guacamole and I just wanted to keep ordering it. If you go to this restaurant please expect good vibes because that is literally what you will get. I even took a picture to prove it.

Came here and sat outside. The service was VERY slow. If you have time to kill, its fine, but just you cannot be on any sort of schedule. Server got my drink order wrong (margarita with salt, but it came with tajin) and after the drinks it was a large wait time before the food showed up.
Guacamole – it’s fine. Honestly the guac from DeCicco’s is better. This tasted bland and lacked that pop of flavor I was looking for.
Margarita – great flavor, dried lime is a nice touch
Calamari – INEDIBLE. It was fried to the point that it was just crunchy bits. There was no discernable calamari in it. We ate very little of this, recommend avoiding.
Fajitas – Here is the biggest problem. Steak fajitas came with SIX (6) slices of steak. Not six chunks, not six pieces, not six sections, six rather thin slices. All this for $30. That is $5 per slice of steak. I understand that prices have increased but that is outrageous.
With all the amazing places Mt. Kisco has to offer, we will never return here. Wanted to give a new place a try, but it was not worth it. Recommend walking a bit further and trying any of the exceptional restaurants just steps away from this place.

A 1st for us after many years at all of the Mexican Restaurants in Mt Kisco. NOW, our Favorite!!! Fresh warm chips and salsa upon seating. The Guacamole is outstanding. We had three different main dishes and ranted and raved about each one. A little gem in the heart of town.

Great little place located in Mt Kisco. The food is great as are the drinks. The waitstaff is extremely thorough and very friendly. I’ve been there on a couple of occasions and both times the service and food were great! Even my 12 year old daughter enjoyed her meal and that is really hard to do!
