Atmosphere was okay, food was decent not amazing and service was good. Pricey for 2 to eat breakfast and drink water. $45 + tax… but we didn’t have a lot of choices since not a lot of businesses open for breakfast. But it was collocated very easily close to the cabin we stayed at in Cooper Harbor.

Serving breakfast from 8am to 11:30.
I ordered the Western Omlet with a side of hashbrowns and we shared a blueberry pancake. Everything was delicious. It wasn’t very busy, but we were still impressed with how fast the food came out.

Very minimal menu. They only had one server she did a great job she was very friendly. She was very organized and got everyone served in the order they were seated. I got the biscuits and gravy I wasn’t impressed it was can gravy. Tasted more like milk gravy.

Absolutely delicious breakfast spot. We had the biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and the #5 with sausage. Everything was cooked to perfection…super crispy hash browns, juicy sausage, creamy gravy, and excellent service. They can get a bit busy so just be patient, they do a top notch job and don’t compromise on quality. I would definitely visit again.

Was in here on 10/11/2025 there is a wait, unfortunately there is only one waitress. But let me tell you this, she is amazing! Shes got a system and it works! Just wait and you wont be disappointed! Shes stern but needs to be, but dont let that throw you off, because once your seated she is like grandma! But she’s busy taking care of everyone and she does it well! It was cash only on that day, not sure if this is a regular thing but be prepared and bring enough cash when you come to the UP! You’ll thank me later. Food was definitely delicious and the wait wasnt long at all, she made sure to come around and check on us, food is a little pricey but what do you expect for being at the tail end of civilization way up here! Again food was amazing and the waitress was amazing aswell!

Ate breakfast here twice during our stay in Copper Harbor and everything tasted great. Menu was minimal but everything we wanted in a breakfast- eggs, toast, pancakes- blueberry & plain, omelettes, bacon, sausage links, hash browns, coffee, hot chocolate, juice. They could have used some more staff but the one hostess/waitress did a great job keeping up. Good value. Would eat here again.

We had breakfast, it was great and service was quick and friendly. They had reduced hours as it was the end of the season, they were only open for breakfast. We were greatful as there wasn’t much else open for breakfast in town.

Nice place. Be sure to check the hours posted locally.
One server when I was there. She was efficient, but taking orders, clearing ta les and checking out….it’s a lot. Felt for her and tipped well.
The omelet was ok. a little flavor, but extra pepper helped.
Sausage links were a good plus.
Food came quickly and got a whole pot of coffee to start.
A very small town type of Denny’s.

We stopped here for lunch after others in our group went earlier for breakfast and raved about it.
We didn’t realize they close between 11am-12pm to get ready for lunch and the day we went they were running behind and let us know it would be a bit longer… turns out the fish was just caught and they still had to prep it.
It was worth the wait – the food was delicious. We had the freshest whitefish fish & chips ever and an amazing brisket sandwich. It may not be fancy looking, but it was delicious!!!

Get the broasted chicken or whitefish! I couldn’t believe how good they both were…and not dripping in grease/oil like some other places. We ate at a neighboring restaurant a couple days prior, which was honestly pretty awful, so we didn’t have high hopes when trying Tamarack Inn but we were proven wrong! I would highly recommend.
