Recently visited this place and was pleasantly surprised. It’s located inside The Cambria Hotel and has a modern, lively vibe that makes it a great spot for a relaxed dinner.

The food was flavorful with the perfect blend of spices. Everything we tried was delicious, the tikkis, naan, Shaam Savera (spinach kofta in a gravy similar to paneer tikka masala), and paneer lababdar were all excellent and well-prepared.

We received our appetizers promptly, though there was a bit of a wait for the main course. The staff was attentive and courteous. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. They also have a branch in Lake Mary, which I’m already planning to check out.

️✨ Tried this Indian restaurant just a short walk from Universal’s Endless Summer Resort — and it was a great experience!

The ambience was lovely, and we were welcomed and seated quickly. The staff was professional, friendly, and the service was excellent throughout.

We ordered chicken tikka masala, malai kofta, tandoori rotis, and a few beers . The food was delicious, well prepared, and the portion sizes were perfect. Plus, complimentary rice was a nice bonus!

Overall, we had a really good dining experience and would definitely recommend this place if you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine ❤️

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at TAMARA. The food was flavorful, authentic, and beautifully presented — every dish felt like a taste of India. But what truly made the evening special was our server, Yash. He was exceptional — warm, attentive, and so knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure we were comfortable throughout and gave great recommendations that we loved. He was so aware of what we needed. It’s rare to see such genuine hospitality in a busy resturant. Thank you, Yash, for making our dining experience so memorable!♥️ def reccomend it.

I was so surprised and impressed how awesome of all dishes that I ordered. We have been searching for the Indian food and end up here because they got a lot of good reviews. No wonder why you guys got 4.8/5 stars. We ordered the appetizer calls ‘garlic chili shrimp’ it was so tasty, the taste is so intense for chili, spice, and garlic with a little tangy flavor. The lentil soup is unexpected delicious. I’m not normally like lentil soup but this one is exceptional. I got Butter chicken dish that I always like ordering and you guys not disappointed me the taste is so intense, chicken was very tender, the level of the spice is just perfect. And my friend ordered Tandoori Lamp chop. It was so tender even I don’t do lamp that much. And of course Garlic Nan bread that I’ve never been missed. Definitely stop by again in the future. By the way I get lost because I don’t know where the restaurant at. I just realized they are located inside the hotel after I checked again on google map!! Lastly, thank you to our server.

Tamara Modern Indian Cuisine was an absolute standout and easily one of the best Indian dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, everything about this place felt elevated — from the atmosphere to the service and, most importantly, the food.

We ordered the paneer makhani, malai kofta, veggie Manchurian, and papdi chaat, and every single dish was impressive in its own way. The paneer makhani was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The paneer was soft and fresh, and the gravy had just the right amount of sweetness and depth without being overly heavy. You could tell a lot of care went into getting the flavors just right.

The malai kofta truly deserves special recognition. This was not your typical, traditional malai kofta — and that’s exactly what made it so memorable. It was different in the best possible way. The koftas were incredibly flavorful and unique, with a modern twist that set them apart from what you’d normally expect. It still respected the essence of the dish but brought something new and exciting to the table. Honestly, it was one of the highlights of the entire meal.

The veggie Manchurian was another winner. The vegetables were perfectly cooked, the sauce was bold and savory, and it had that satisfying Indo-Chinese flavor that keeps you going back for more. It was crispy, saucy, and full of flavor without being greasy.

The papdi chaat was fresh, crunchy, tangy, and beautifully balanced. Every bite had a mix of textures and flavors — sweet, spicy, tangy, and refreshing all at once. It was executed perfectly and tasted incredibly fresh, which isn’t always easy to find.

Beyond the food, the service was spot on. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Orders came out in a timely manner, everything was explained well, and we never felt rushed or ignored. It really elevated the overall dining experience.

And then there’s the atmosphere, which I can confidently say was a 10 out of 10. The space is modern, stylish, and beautifully designed. It feels upscale yet comfortable, making it perfect for a date night, a special occasion, or even just a nice night out with family or friends. The ambiance alone makes you want to come back.

Overall, Tamara Modern Indian Cuisine delivers on every level — exceptional food, creative twists on classic dishes, outstanding service, and a stunning atmosphere. This is the kind of restaurant that leaves a lasting impression and makes you excited to return. I will absolutely be back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for high-quality, modern Indian cuisine done right.

I tried this place after a long, exhausting day at Universal, and the food was amazing. I’ve eaten at so many places across LA, NYC, NJ, and MI, and this one really stood out. You can tell they put a lot of thought and detail into every dish. Even the little things impressed me — like adding coconut shreds on the gulab jamun. Not many restaurants do that anymore, and it made the experience even better.

Absolutely amazing Northern Indian cuisine hidden within Cambria Hotel. Yash, our host, was an amazing, he took the time to share stories about his time growing up on his father’s spinach farm near Mumbai and the food he grew up loving. If you love Indian food, and crave it, like us, Tamara is a must try.
