Stopped by for some tamales. It’s a small spot but overall welcoming. The tamales were huge. 3$ for a tamale but worth it. Filled with meat. The flavor is good. They’re not too spicy which my picky 9 year old loved! My only disappointment was the champurrado. Maybe I came at a wrong batch. But my champurrado tasted like pure corn. I could not taste any cinnamon or any other flavor aside from the corn in it. Which made me super sad because I was excited to drink it. The medium size was 5.50 I believe so I was disappointed that it was not enjoyable at all. I’d return for the tamales. Didn’t try the rest of the menu. But I’ll be back to try the chilaquiles.
