Damn good chilaquiles. Got the banderas with eggs and carne asada, about $20. Not a lot of room to eat for families but delicious.

Pretty damn good Tamales. They are full of meat and quite a bit bigger than a normal Tamale. A little pricey but not when you consider the size of each Tamale and amount of meat inside. So I think its worth it. They aren’t over cooked like a lot of other places.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!
I called to make sure they had tamales. They said they did. And would save them for me.
I drove from Fontana to Montclair.
From my phone call to when I got there. It took me about 15 minutes. When I walked in, they said they don’t know who talked to me on the phone.
& They don’t have tamales and they cant help me.
When I explained, I just called.
The woman was very rude. The way she spoke to me was condescending & contradicting. Her demeanor and her tone.
She looked like she just wanted to go home and that’s understandable.
But don’t take out your horrible day on other people.
I say, save your money and go somewhere else.

If you’re a fan of authentic, homemade tamales, then Tamales Jalisco is an absolute must-try!

The tamales here are nothing short of exceptional. Each one is perfectly steamed, with the masa soft and moist, not dry or too thick.

They also offer a Sweet Tamales for dessert, which is the perfect end to the meal, offering just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming.

The staff is incredibly friendly, always offering to heat up the tamales for you and suggesting the best salsas to complement your meal.

For those looking for a quick lunch or a hearty dinner, Tamales Jalisco offers delicious tamales at a great price, with fast and friendly service. I’ll definitely be back to try their other varieties, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves authentic Mexican flavors.

The Tamales are usually really good this last time they were horrible, and the champurrado is a hit and miss I’ve gotten really bad champurrado about 4-5 times this last time the champurrado was really watered down I understand the times that I have gone it’s at the end of the day but that’s no excuse especially for the price, I used to buy from them before they open the restaurant when they used to sell on the streets the quality was better before.

I tried this spot the other day. And honestly probably the best tamale I have ever had. They were a great. The masa to meat ratio was perfect. I’ve never had one that moist. Flavor was delicious! I will be back and highly recommend them!!
