I just came here to buy Tamales because, obviously it was called Tamale at home and some of the reviews said “the best in Utah”… whoever left that review doesn’t know good tamales. First off they are extremely overpriced and they give you barely any meat. I went ahead and bought the dozen for 20 bucks. If I didn’t do that, it would be 2.50 for each tamale. Literally, one of my tamales was 90% masa (corn meal). One thing I aboslutely dislike about tamales is when they give me that ese types of tamales. I also tried the tacoss.. the meat was dry and overcooked, and al pastor tacos seemed reheated. I hope this place changes the way they run things, i know its tough to do tamales and have them rdy for customers at a moments notices but if your gonna advertise tamales, please actually have meat in it… instead of just straight corn meal… worst tamales in ive had in a long time.

The vibe here is awesome, from the rural Mexico feel of the dining area to the perfect playlist of music videos on the TV. The staff is very attentive and charming. So far I’ve liked everything I tried here. My favorites for entrees are the pork tamale and the shrimp taco. The shrimp taco is one of the best I’ve ever had. For dessert the flan and the strawberries and peppers, simply amazing.

Delicious! The tacos meat is outstanding and the presentation is done with care. The staff was very nice, and made sure everything was to my liking. The restaurant is very simple and has a great sound system to play cozy music. If you get a chance try they flan, it was the best flan I can ever remember eating. I will definitely be back!

Such a cute little place with cute people running it! My husband and I got tamales and they were absolutely delicious. Plus the restaurant is very clean and well-maintained. The location makes it so not many people know about it and they’ve only been in business for a year, so spread the word! We’ll be coming back soon.

Great tasting authentic food at a good price. They mostly serve Mexican dishes, but some they sometimes have specials such as Paella, which is a traditional dish from Spain. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. Most of them speak English well also! It’s also in a unique location, right by the Frontrunner station so you can grab a bite right before you get on the train if you need to! They also will deliver.

Tasty. Big tamales–I ordered a bunch because the last place I’d gotten tamales they’d been smaller. I think they’re probably as good a tamale as I’ve had in Utah. My favorites in Mexico we’re always a little more moist, but these were delicious. I particularly enjoyed the chicken mole poblano.

Best Mexican food in Provo by far! So delicious and beautiful. A lot of caregoesinti the presentation and flavors. We were skeptical when we saw the location but we’re incredibly happy that we went or we would have missed a great experience! We couldn’t stop talking about it all the way home!

FANTASTIC tamales, the only place I’ve found where you can order more than a couple at a time without calling days ahead. The food is authentic and the staff are so kind whether you speak Spanish or English. And the tamales are large, so paying $20 for a dozen is more than worth it, it feeds us dinner for a week.
