Year-ahead reservations are required at this tiny BYOB with a farm-fresh, multicourse tasting menu.

We have came here multiple times not only to shop, but also for there seasonal dinners. All I have to say is that there quality in everything thing they make is phenomenal and they are always giving samples and you will never leave hungry or unsatisfied after coming here

We booked a tasting dinner here a full year in advance to nab a Saturday evening and it was well worth it. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all excellent. We were absolutely blown away by not just the quality of the courses, but also the variety on the winter menu. Talula’s really did an excellent job preparing unique, flavorful dishes with fresh ingredients that each stood out on their own. The add-ons between the dishes such as the small bites to start the meal and the just incredible bread basket were also all excellent. Our two servers also did an absolutely great job. We appreciated that they were able to make accommodations for various food allergies. This was well worth the trip out to Kennett Square from Philly and one of the best tasting menu experiences we have had. We highly recommend getting your name in the books for this excellent dining experience!

Cute spot during the day! Great dips and baked goods, beautiful store inside, kind staff. Would love to try dining here for dinner eventually – you need reservations well in advance to dine as you reserve “the table” for your groups meal! A staple in Kennett.

Reviewing on my cafe experience as I have yet to dine here for dinner.
I love this cafe. So many delicious treats to choose from. I’ve only ever tried their frittata, but I can’t wait to try some baked goods. They have many different small food brands’ products, too. I wish they carried Baba’s Kombucha. It would fit in so well. At least they do have a kombucha option, but it is a common brand that doesn’t exactly feel like it matches the cute, bespoke nature of Talula’s.
Limited seating in the cafe, but the style of seating is sweet. Two communal style tables.
The decor in the place is thoughtfully curated to match the unique style of whomever designed the space. There is intentionality and originality in it. The door is often rotating during the day with people coming in to grab food to go, but even with all the action, the environment is peaceful to sit and chat with a friend or get some work done.
I can’t wait to come back and try more!

Such a special experience. Only 2 tables inside. Food was superb. Service and knowledge of the food and origination was top notch. We brought our own wine to pair that they suggested.

I found this place on Google while looking up for vegetarian friendly restaurants. It took me a while & few attempts by a displeased server to finally understand that it’s a Marketplace which has every single item except for the drinks spread out & displayed in various corners. I absolutely adored their setup! We sat outside because we got our dog along & it was nice outside given it’s on a beautiful street. The interiors are done tastefully & are very cozy. It was really packed probably because we went on a Sunday morning during holiday hours.
Talking about the food. We got an almond croissant, an order of hot chocolate, sesame noodles (I don’t remember the exact order name) & veg enchiladas. The hot chocolate was really good in taste & size. Absolutely loved the croissant, my husband liked the noodles, lastly the enchiladas were crispy outside but the filling was really bland.
I also picked an almond cake which I didn’t love because of the texture, it was really soft & fresh though. A bottle of fig preserve & a box of granola. The granola is a little overcooked & gives a little burnt flavor in a few bites. They have an excellent selection of other bakery items & really good cheese, I just tried the goat cheese which I’m likely to get on the next visit.
I’m likely to give another chance to their food which I found a little pricey for the portion size. But I’ll be going here regardless, for the baked goods & excellent cheese!
Do visit!

We got there at lunchtime line out the door on way to Longwood gardens. We had Asian chicken salad and a chicken Caesar salad with cheese stuffed baguette Two waters and a fruit tart. With lemon custard. $51.00. They have two tables inside and two small ones outside. The list of prices is hard to see if you are in line. Need better signage for pricing. They forgot to give us fruit tart. Rob had to go back and get it and they gave us a pumpkin cream cheese muffin to make up for it. It is so good and the fruit tart is tasty and beautiful. It’s small but very charming place. They have been there for years. Their quality of food is gourmet.

I’ve been a regular customer to this place. Firstly, Id like to appreciate the consistency of the food quality, too good every-time. They serve amazing croissants. I like their butter croissants, danish. They also have this gluten free chocolate cake which is hands down the best. Lastly, they have very good varieties of teas and coffees. I think they could do better with scones and macaroons.

It’s a grab and go place. Not many tables inside just one long communal with 8 chairs and a booth that sits 4. They can heat whatever up for you though like the pastries, soups and sandwiches. I had the chicken soup which was good. It was a light broth and had spinach and corn in it. The chicken pieces were chunked and some were chewy. My friend got a huge scone she really liked. I got the ham and cheese croissant but they gave it to me in a baguette instead so they let me keep that one which was nice and got me the one I ordered. The croissant was much better, very flaky and delicious. Lots of ham and cheese. There is a bathroom in the back and a bunch of premade and packaged food you can buy. The flourless chocolate cake was fudgy but left a bad taste in my mouth.

A unique venue for you and 10 closest friends. The reservation wait time is famously long – ours was nearly one year – but the food and service is a rare experience worth the wait. Ask for the recommended wine pairings and purchase those to bring along; they put much thought into the pairings.
