My wife and I decided to try this place out and we were left with mixed impressions. Walking in, I was immediately struck by the nice interior ambiance—a warm, inviting atmosphere with tasteful decor that set a promising tone. The lighting was well thought out, and the layout felt cozy without being cramped, making it a pleasant space to settle into.

For my meal, I opted for the bacon burger, while my wife chose the cowboy burger. My experience was underwhelming. The bacon burger, though decent, was nothing special—average in flavor and execution. Given the price point, I expected more; the patty was a bit dry, and the toppings didn’t elevate it beyond standard fare. It wasn’t bad, just uninspired, and I found myself wishing I’d chosen differently. On the other hand, my wife had a completely different experience. She genuinely enjoyed her cowboy burger, praising its bold flavors and juicy texture. She noted the seasoning was spot-on, and the combination of ingredients worked harmoniously, making it a standout for her.

Overall, the restaurant has potential. The ambiance is a strong draw, and it’s clear some dishes, like the cowboy burger, hit the mark. But for the price, consistency across the menu—like with my bacon burger—needs improvement. We might return, but I’d be more selective next time.

Food was very underwhelming. The smoked ribs were not smoked, the scalloped potatoes looked several days old, the crispy Brussel sprouts were soggy. Service and ambience were great!

Service was great, food was tasty, and the seats were comfy. We liked the lunch menu and will be back to try the dinner menu. The fries are so crispy and seasoned perfectly!

We ordered the prime rib dinners.
Dinner arrived before our salads.
We sent the dinner plate back as everything on the plate was cold. The salad arrived with wilted lettuce. When the prime rib was brought back, our rare and medium rare order was now over cooked. The sides of broccoli were still cold. The potatoes were still cold. But the meat was now warm, just over cooked. The only good part of our experience tonight is the beer was cold, and my girlfriends cocktails were good. We have never had real good service here, but the food has always been descent. I highly doubt we will be returning until we start hearing better reviews. Should have made the drive to Mt Pleasant and gone to Texas Roadhouse for this birthday dinner.

I ordered an omelette. It was supposed to have peppers and bacon inside, but it was very skimpy. It was supposed to have cheese, but I couldn’t find the cheese at all. The egg portion of the omelette, didn’t look like it was made with pure eggs. It almost looked like they used the kind that comes in a carton. Hashbrowns were all scrambled up and not very good .The coffee was horrible, and tasted like hot water basically. This breakfast came to about $17, with tip. It was nothing I would ever get hungry for! I’ve had a much superior breakfast to this, at Stan’s restaurant in Mt. Pleasant, for about $12, incl. tip!

Okay, I live right down the street. I eat here probably one to two times a month. I use to love the food here! It was consistent, prices were manageable, drinks are awesome! I’ve ordered the ribs the last 4 times I’ve ate there (use to get the prime rib but I can’t justify almost $30 for it anymore). The first time, it was amazing! They were fall off the bone, seasoned perfect, perfect rub to BBQ ratio. I love that it comes with 2 sides and a salad and it’s less than $16. The second time it was tuff but still good, last time was cold and tuff but I didn’t complain because my order was to go and it is what it is. But today… today I wanted nothing more than to experience what I experienced the first time. It was my birthday, all I wanted was some good drinks and good ribs. We sat down and then maybe 5 minutes later another couple walked in. They had gotten their appetizer AND dinner before we got our one pretzel appetizer. But we were enjoying the company and it was okay. Appetizer was great when it finally came. Then our dinner came, it looked great! It was a generous serving. I had to cut my first rib off the bone and I mean it was tuff. I look at it and it’s a little red but I didn’t think that much of it because I thought it was smoked… wrong… I was looking at it more once I realized the texture in my mouth was more like a medium rare steak. I cut it down the middle and it was poring out blood juice. On ribs. I’ve never once went to a restaurant and even thought that my ribs might be raw because they are ribs! They are supposed to fall off the bone! The head chef was apparently in today so I’m not too sure where he was at but man. Do better Tally’s! Be more consistent! The waitress went above and beyond. It wasn’t her fault. I’m more just complaining about the consistency in food!

A group of us who meet monthly for wine, appetizers and to socialize came in on Thursday night. It was the first visit for some. The server great and friendly while he served us as well as the rest of the guests in tje restaurant. Our food was very good, we ordered every appetizer on the menu except the chili. My only suggestion is improve the wine offerings.

Fresh new look of the interior of clubhouse. Our group visited on a Saturday night. Two ordered the parmeson crusted walleye(not much flavor and thought we would be getting one filet instead the serving was 6 smaller finger size filets. One ordered the prime rib which had good flavor and the other ordered the Chicken Penne. The side salad looked good but lacked flavor. Overall the food was good. Waitstaff needs more training.

Max and Lauren are true MVPs who deserve raises and/or vacations! It’s Thanksgiving Eve… one of the busiest bar nights of the year… and they are the only people working. TWO PEOPLE!! BUSIEST BAR MIGHT OF THE YEAR!! Where is the rest of the staff or the manager?? The food was good but it’s truly pitiful that this place is so busy and that they’re running their staff so ragged.

Service was great! Speedy and professional. Loved the puppadew peppers and Brussel sprout appetizers! Split the walleye with my wife which was great and the fries are a must! Can’t wait to go back for the specials
