Fries are the highlight of the menu. Sounds odd given how good the pulled pork sandwich was but those fries are on another level.
Stumbled upon this place after driving an hour or two on dirt roads. As I drove by the smell hit me and pulled me in. Amazing food, great service, friendly owners. I will be back if I’m ever in Curtis MI again. I already told a HS friend who moved up to the UP about it, I hope they visit.

Absolutely Delicious Food! Best in the Area! Jason and his wife have done incredible with great service, great atmosphere and are great people to talk with. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends to try their food.

Freaking awesome! They had a limited menu when we were there due to a fund raiser but the food that they had was incredible! I had the smoked wings and my wife had the smoked brisket sandwich, both of which were tasty as hell! If you’re in Curtis Mi you have got to check this place out, highly recommended!

Nice pub in Curtis, Mi. Decent food though for the older sect, there isn’t much protein offering that aren’t fried. May be my fault for not asking about alternatives. We like the vibe way better than the place across the street. 4 star rating is based on present experience for the few calendar days we were there. Best thin cut steak fries I have ever eaten! They were quick and honest when I complimented them….the lady I spoke with said they were a product of their supplier. Likin’ that.

Local hangout for tavern food and drinks. Food is good, service is fine. Pretzel bites and mac n’ cheese bites for appetizers were good. Brew pub burger was good and would order again. Thin sliced steak fries are a nice change of pace. Good spot after a long day of ice fishing.

Online menu showed the had Mexican food and they didn’t have any. 4 of us came in for that. One ordered a hamburger and chicken sandwich both not very good. We ordered the pizza which was good. Won’t go back again. Will go to shipwreck and get wet burrito. Did not see the pot pies.

We visited Curtis for the 906 festival (it was really just an excuse to go up north) and then debated between going to Tally Ho or the Shipwreck. The pics of Tally Ho showed arcade games and we had kids so we went there. There were NO arcade games; they were apparently replaced by MI lotto games (not helpful for kids). We still ate there but it took FOREVER. The food was what you’d expect from a bar. Not gross, not spectacular; the kids were satisfied. That said, it took about 40 mins for them to rake our order. We ordered a pizza, 2 burgers and a BLT. We were so hungry, my husband ate half of his BLT before before we were able to ask for mayo (which we asked for when ordered). I could tell the guy serving us was trying, but they must not have had the staff. We were there almost 2 hours total. Everything took so long and there were many drunk ppl. It’s more of a bar than a restaurant. So if you’re looking to hang for a while, this might be for you but if you have kids, maybe try another place.
