We decided to try Tall Guys Burgers & Fries this evening & I’m glad we did!! It’s a small building (8 – 4 person tables) with limited parking. You walk in & order at the counter. It’s LITERLLY Smash Burgers, Fries, & Chicken. We were there for the burgers!! My daughter & I both ordered a “Double” & my husband ordered a “Spicy Double” and then we got Cajun Fries & drinks (bottled water, can soda, & Mexican Coke – my personal choice). Our total ticket for 3 burgers, 3 fries, & 3 drinks was less than $50. The food took 25 minutes or so to come out but that was fine with us for a busy Friday night. There was a steady stream of people in & out with dine in & carry out orders. The food arrived hot & fresh!! Everything was delicious & I highly recommend the cajun fries!! So yummy. We will definitely be back!!

Me and my roommate wanted to give this place a try. By far these are the best burgers we have ever had! The smash burgers are full of flavor and the fries were perfectly seasoned. Their fry sauce is a must try! Their prices aren’t crazy at all, I paid less than $15 for a burger, fries, and a drink. Great experience, food, and hospitality. The staff are the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. I will be recommending this place to family and friends and coming here more often.

My family and I went here for lunch. I got the burger of the month (Philly Cheese smash burger with cajun fries), my kiddos got their chicken nuggets with regular fries. We also got fry sauce, hot honey and they home made ranch. All the sauces were incredible. The burger was absolutely amazing, like always. This is 100% a hidden gem in San angelo. It does take a little while to get the food but everything is made to order and is well worth it! The lady who took our order was also very nice! We will definitely be back

Finally stopped in after putting it off forever. If you’re a fan of classic, lacy-edged smash burgers then Tall Guys is the place to be in San Angelo.
Looking forward to trying some of the burgers of the month, however stuck with just a classic double smash and fries today.

The visit was brief and don’t get me wrong, Tall Guys had some strengths as well as some weaknesses.
Strengths: The artwork on the building is absolutely stunning! Well done to the artist!
The food tasted good for the price.
Cajun fries were actually spicy, nice change for once.
Weakness: I was served a rotting piece of lettuce. When the burger was put together, you could not tell because the edges were as they should be. When the burger was pulled apart, the truth was revealed. Felt like I had been deceived.
Secondly, the essence of beef patty had me laughing. I believe it is more than fair to say if you serve 2 thin patties that look like they are hanging on by a strand, JUST GIVE US A SINGULAR PATTY.
Lastly, I did find it odd that in the 5 pm rush hour, the place was a far from busy and extremely quiet.
Overall, decent food. Would I eat there again? Perhaps, but after a blue moon passes.

Ordered burgers against my better judgement, and was totally let down . Ordered the double with mayo no special sauce . Went and got them and got home , WAS NOT what we ordered. It had jalapeños , which I CAN NOT eat and pepper jack cheese , can’t eat that either . The fries are cold and look like Freddy’s fries . You could say I’ve been there twice , my first and LAST time . I tried to call , but the cell phone number didn’t have voicemail set up . Big Burger is the place to go . It’s cooked fresh when you order . The fries are thick , and the price you can’t beat . A double meat with cheese , large fries and a coke for 10.00 . And who wants a smash burger ? I want a burger that juice is gonna get everywhere. Not 2 THIN patties that are dry . So after spending almost 30.00 for 2 cold wrong burgers I can’t eat , and cold stick fries I’m gonna have to go somewhere else to get something to eat . DONT waste your time or money . I like supporting small local businesses , but I’m sorry , DONT do it . And get a landline so if somebody has a problem they can get through to you . SAD SAD SAD
