Talkin’ Tacos™ started as a food truck in the Miami community, aiming to provide the best Mexican food in South Florida. But as we grew a larger and larger following, the lines around our food truck became too hard to keep up with. We knew we needed to expand into a restaurant space to be able to serve our awesome customers more of our famous tacos and Mexican food every day.

My wife and I stopped thru today for a quick bite after my Dr. Apt today we both were in the mood for tacos. As soon as I walked thru the door I was in awe and stopped to admire the beautiful mural on the wall. The self serve kiosk to order your food was really simple and hassle free. We grabbed our table marker sat down and admired the space. I loved the neon colors and the music that was playing really made the experience that more wonderful. It took like 10 minutes for our food to come out, and we chowed down. I ordered birria and steak tacos my wife had a shrimp and a mahi taco along with the street corn. Everything was fresh and delicious definitely hit the spot!!! The street corn was super good I highly recommend. We were just saying before our departure that we were gonna make it a point to come back and visit Talking Tacos again. Well
Done I love . O yeah spot was clean and your staff was super helpful especially the young lady that you had working the door and waitressing.

Absolutely loved the vibe and atmosphere, really fun and cool decor. There wasn’t any wait because of the time that I stopped by, the servers were very friendly and the food came out pretty fast. I got the birria grilled cheese with tomato soup and fries, and the home mango lemonade. The lemonade was really good, well balanced between flavors, not too sweet or too sour. The tomato soup well done. And the birria grilled cheese was amazing, the meat practically melts into your mouth and it was packed with flavor. My only issue was the oiliness, however, that is definitely a personal issue with it as I have a hard time with some foods with high amounts of oil. But to be honest, despite that, I’ll definitely be back with friends.
Update: I went again and got their new item the birria mac and cheese and sunset lemonade. The portion of the birria mac was awesome, its a large cup and absolutely packed with food. The flavor was really good, and it had a lot of cheese. I loved it, and so did my family. The lemonade was really good too, personally I think the mango one is better. Given the portion and the flavor, the price is more than fair.

I would say it’s not an ideal location for this place. It should in a stand alone structure. It has its own vibe. You’ll know, when you see the place. Dark with neon, but there’s enough light where you can see. When you first enter, you’ll order at a kiosk machine. Take a number stand and sit at a table. 10-15 minutes someone brings your food to the table. There’s lots of delicious options to choose from. Tonight I had the Birria Ramen and the rest of the family had a Birria sandwich with fries, a 3 taco plate (shrimp, carnitas, and mahi), chips and special queso. The prices are pretty reasonable for the amount and quality you get. Everything was delicious. We’ll definitely be back and try something else because there was more that we wanted to try. There’s lots of tables inside (but dark at night), and lots of free parking. And it’s easy to locate from the main road.

This is the cutest little taco restaurant. I love how you order on the kiosk, take a seat of your choice and they bring the food to you. The food was enough for two to three people. I literally wanted to try everything, but I ended up with birria Ramen and a shrimp, taco salad bowl. It was so good. My daughter and I shared loaded chicken nachos for an appetizer, again, it was enough for three. This is our new favorite, taco spot.

I was excited to try this place based on the reviews I’ve seen and the pics of the food. We pulled up at prime dinner time and it wasn’t super busy as I expected ….. Not a good sign. The decor is cool, the dining area was clean. You have to order at a kiosk and pay when you order, then they bring your food to you. Everything was prepared to order. I had a taco trio with the steak, Birria, and bang bang shrimp tacos. She had a shrimp rice bowl, and we tried the tomato soup and an order of guacamole. All in with 2 sodas, $55. The guacamole was okay…. There wasn’t much spice to it. The tomato soup was GREAT! The shrimp bowl was a bit bland…. Not a lot of flavor and the rice in it was cold. The tacos had great flavors, but none of the meats seemed to be to temperature. The shrimp were warm, but the meats in both the steak and the Birria tacos were cold and dry. I was disappointed and definitely don’t get the hype. There are SO many places around Tampa with tacos and Mexican food, so this place better step up their game.

First off, the advertisement 100% got me. Second, they for sure followed up strong on the food.
I got the birria ramen and I can’t imagine it better other than offering a slice of lime to go with it. The meat and noodles were perfect in texture, the broth is filling and flavorful. The broth is rather rich and frankly I almost had to save part for later.
The packaging of the ramen is also thoughtfully done with the container being placed inside of a spill safe bag, which is placed in the carrying bag. They give you a fork and spoon, which is all you need to eat this, so you can eat this on the go.
If you want to dine in, the interior is well decorated and the gentleman at the register was very polite and easygoing.
I ordered through their website, it looks like they have a loyalty program that makes the site worth ordering through.
Highly recommended, will be directing more people here!

First time to a talking taco shop. So orders are all placed through kiosk with your name and email to send receipt and find you to bring your food. Not sure what you’d do if had only cash, the kiosks only take cards
They have an extensive menu that is not English speaking friendly. I didn’t know what half the items were, like birria. I got the taco trio of bang bang shrimp, barilla carne, and the standard beef taco. The tacos were not hot, pretty greasy, and came with a bland and greasy taco sauce. I loved the habanero, jalapeño and cayenne pepper sauces, all talking taco brand. The meat on the standard taco was overcooked and dry. The bang bang shrimp taco did not have enough sauce, and the barilli taco had one wad of meat not so easy to bite into. The atmosphere was good, but the music playing was so loud the server couldn’t hear us screaming to get her attention, nor could we hear her calling our names with our orders. The server gets auto 12% on card unless you manually change it. She only brought our drinks and food and a box once we got her attention. We cleaned our own table. Lemonade refills are free. I would have been okay if server would have asked how it was or seen us trying to flag her down, as we wanted other sauces like sour cream.

I spent $46 on food and can’t even eat. I put in my comments that I’m vegetarian, please do not cross contaminate, and it was cooked over grease from the other food. I asked for no takis, pico or avocado salsa, almost threw up in the parking lot when I but into it to taste meat and onions from the avocado salsa. They remade it and, while this time didn’t have onions, it also didn’t have the sour cream that I asked for and was cooked in meat, again. I’m staring at food I cannot eat and that erks me to no end.

Food is food but everything was cold esp our queso .
Service was awful . Young girls with no respect or manners. Had to wait 5 min after everyone got their food for mine and then she delivers it to The table to someone who clearly already had his food . Didn’t speak at all. Girl behind the counter was just there not really aiding very well with the food line.
The restaurant was clean and nice and super cool with the lights .
Wish our food was hot would have been much better .

Decent taco spot for a quick, if expensive, lunch.
The carne tacos were good, however the lunch special which included two tacos, drink and chips came to $30. The tacos weren’t $30 good.
Service was excellent, fast and accurate. Decore was interesting with a dark neon Nuevo modern thing going on.
Order via kiosk which might have more options than I found, but seemed limited for mix and matching tacos and customizing extras. There are no soft drinks available, but they have bottled water and a few flavors of lemonade.
