We ordered several dinners. Curry chicken and rice should be called curry bones and rice..they really dont care its all about the money..
and it was served with a smile..curry bones and rice dinners were thrown in the trash…we will never go there again…we drove the 25 minutes to Scott’s bakery in Hartford. The chicken and rice dinners for 5 was perfect!

MY FIANCE PUT ME ON TO THIS SPOT LIKE A YEAR AGO AND I BEEN HOOKED.. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS AND IT’S WORTH IT.. TODAY HE ASKED ME WHERE DID I WANT TO GO FOR MOTHER’S DAY 5/11/25 AND IT WAS THIS PLACE. A while ago, I ordered red snapper with ground provisions for a delivery and all I received was the provisions and salad..no fish at all. Now, how do you not realize that the main part of the dish is not included and still send it along. I felt like that was intentional. I liked their food but they lost a customer.

It was a nice and clean restaurant. The lady who attended us was friendly and even let us sample food for the first time. I got a mild beef patty and a piece of fried chicken. The food was warm, wish it could have been a little bit more hot.

Food is great! 20 years of buying from them but your portion sizes don’t work for me for the price! I bought a large then had to buy a small because so little meat! My small looks like it has more! Come on talk of the town you can do betta!

I called on the phone and placed my order because we live about 25 minutes away. When we got there we told the girl behind the counter that we had a call in order. She went and asked the girls if they had my order and they said I called after 8pm. But she took my order and didn’t mention that at all. Then she proceeded to tell us that they didn’t have the shrimp that I ordered. So we basically drove all that way for nothing. They didn’t apologize or even care. This restaurant has always had a problem with the girls behind the counter and how they single out people they don’t know. Rude and obnoxious behavior.

restaurant is very cleanly. the employees were kind and efficient. i am particular about my curry goat and was extremely satisfied with the meal. it’s juicy and flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. real nice texture on the goat. cabbage was amazing and the rice and peas as well. i really appreciated that they had a homemade sorrel beverage i’m looking forward to my next visit!
