Great NYC style bagels. For my first visit I got a poppy seed bagel with cream cheese. Delicious! Bagel was perfection. Next visit I will be getting the flight to try more at one time. Unlike NYC bagel shops which have a ton of smears to choose from, Tali’s has just a few signature ones. Enjoy the adventure.

Went to Tali’s for the first time this weekend. It did not disappoint! I got the flight of mini bagels which was a great way to try different bagels with different schmears. I got the sesame bagel w lemon dill schmear, poppy bagel w ube schmear, everything bagel w meshuga schnear and a cold brew. My fave spread was meshuga but when I wanted a change, the lemon dill was perfect. It was bright and a perfect change from the jalapeños in the meshuga. And the ube schmear was fantastic. Sweet and creamy! I cant wait to go back!

Tali’s Bagels is a Kailua staple! The bagels are legit—chewy, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you’re craving a proper bagel. The owner is super welcoming and creates a really friendly vibe the moment you walk in. If it’s your first time, I highly recommend the OG NYC. Simple, classic, and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth stopping by.

These are the foulest bagel sandwiches ever. The egg salad and the fish are so over seasoned they are inedible. I don’t know what this egg like substance is in the BEC. Terrible! I threw them all in the trash. Had them delivered so no idea what the service or atmosphere are like and I never will because the food is disgusting.

As a native NJ/NY’er I can confidently say that Tali’s knows how to make a bagel proper!! I swore off bagels when I moved on island due to the subpar quality but then I found this absolute gem and lifesaver of a bagel spot. Handcrafted just like NY style with an over abundance of cream cheese, classic sandwich combos and a no nonsense caffeine options. The bagels have that perfect crisp when toasted with a perfectly soft and chewy inside and a slew of schmears to fit your every craving. I feel so at home when I get a Tali’s bagel, any other option on Oahu is simply round bread. Please give it a try if you think you’ve had bagels but haven’t had Tali’s you’re sorely mistaken.

Delicious bagels and fairly priced, very nice workers! Will definitely come back and recommend, bagels taste like New York. However, just beware that they do charge about 1.75% as a “service fee “ which they don’t disclose anywhere until you get the receipt. I was charged 6% for sale tax/service fee

I’m thrilled that Kailua now has a Tali’s Bagel location. I used to frequent Talia and Kelly’s stand when they used to come to the Kailua Farmers Market on Sundays. Today, I enjoyed a flight of mini bagels—with plain, Meshuga, and Ube Schmears -just like I remember: perfect texture and delicious flavors. They also offer a bagel sandwich with their egg salad, which is super ono! You won’t find bagels like this on the island. We’re so lucky to have New York style bagels on the Windward side!

Tali’s is closed for 2 weeks Nov 9 – 22, 2025, to compete in a bagel bake-off in New York. They left no notice on their website, just a small paper notice in the door. Lots of us got there same time & were disappointed.
