Social Profile:

In 1970, childhood friends Tom J. Caldarera, Jr. and James J. Cadelli turned to a love they both knew well; good authentic Italian food. With guidance & advice from their Italian mothers, Concetta & Lola, family recipes were used to became the foundation of the newly formed family restaurant. Over three generations of the families have spent hours in the kitchen perfecting sauces & pastas. They are still made fresh daily to ensure a memorable dining experience. The restaurant has received numerous accolades & awards from local, state, & regional magazines & newspapers. Today the tradition continues to evolve with the involvement of the 4th generation of the Caldarera family working at the restaurant making it a true family affair.

Very laid back casual experience. The old house setting is great. We had bruchetta for appetizer and seafood entrees with canoli for dessert. Little too much sauce on our entrees for my taste but still very good. Will be back for sure.

This was my first time visiting Taliano’s. The service was very good and the food was delicious. The restaurant itself is a Victorian-Era house and very well-kept. Would recommend and will be visiting again.

Just wanted to say what an excellent meal we had last night. I had the chicken marsala and it was out of this world! My picky 8 year old just about finished her plate and my parents licked their bowls clean. I’m so happy to have you guys in the area after so many years and the food quality. Oh and the server Melissa, top notch! Thanks for a great evening!

Taliano’s service is outstanding and we loved our food. Such a good place for date night! The decor is lovely and inviting. We both got raviolis and they were great! I would recommend the spinach ravioli the most! We also loved the wine. We also got tiramisu and it was delicious.

The food is fantastic and I am an Italian. Real homemade flavor and great sauce. Service wasn’t the best, but I will always go back for the food, prices very reasonable and great portions. You must try this place.

Have loved this place for several years. It is a regular stopping place for us when we return home from our fishing adventures in Missouri. The food is fabulous and the service is great, even though they are very short staffed right now. Highly recommend!

We drove down from Pittsburg, KS on a weekend in March and decided to give them a try. The food was amazing! My wife has a glutton intolerance, which was not a problem. They had gluten free spaghetti! The staff was very friendly and we loved the atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the great food.

The staff was very friendly and acknowledged all food allergies as well. It was wonderful to see that they cared. The food was amazing! I had the spinach and ravioli. It wasn’t as big of a plate as I expected in an Italian restaurant, but I still needed to take some home. The house itself is very old and filled with a lot of history…we could tell from the moment we pulled into the driveway that we weren’t going to be “eating alone.” That was confirmed after speaking with the staff and hearing about frequent sightings. We even saw physical evidence from a video on the staff’s cell phone. We saw nothing, but we could tell we were being watched from a distance. The atmosphere was nice, but a bit creepy at first. Ghost Hunters should come here, it’d be cool to know more about the families that lived here prior to it becoming a restaurant. It’d also get the restaurant some well-deserved customers…the food was absolutely wonderful!
