It took me a while to write this review as I very much enjoy multiple Indian places here in the valley. After getting to know the chef, and him finally letting loose on the spice level, I fully feel like this is the best spot for authentic Indian food that you can find here, and it’s arguably my favorite spot in the country at this point. The chef gets all of his spices fresh from India and makes every dish to order rather than pulling from a pre-made base pot. That in mind, it will take over 20 minutes for your order. It is so worth the wait. This is some of the most flavorful and delicious Indian food you will have. This man cares about every dish he sends out and it shows from the first bite, to the leftovers you eat a couple days later. If you like spice, be sure to assure him you aren’t scared!

Wow. Didn’t expect this quite little place to pack such flavor. Ordered the Butter Chicken which came with rice and it was RICH with flavor. If you order spicy, it’s gonna be SPICY (which I love). Overall, if you are looking for a quick and healthy meal, this is a great alternative to fast food!
Located inside at the Chester Chicken space. Don’t forget to ring that bell for service!

Definitely some of the best Indian food I have had. Just as good as home-made. Chef is very passionate and very professional. Hopefully he opens a fine dining establishment soon.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is incredible and authentic. He sources all his spices directly from India and cooks and prepares his food like they would in India. He doesn’t try and Americanize his food and the result is incredible flavor and that special “from scratch” taste. The owner is passionate about his craft and sharing his process and the nuance and details of his dishes. He also has a decent selection for different food preferences, from goat curries to vegan and vegetarian dishes. My girlfriend and I cannot stop raving about this place to everyone we know. As other reviewers mention, takeout is preferred and ordering ahead is a smart move. The gas station cashier will answer the phone, so just asked to get transferred to place an order for the Indian food. Enjoy!

Im leaving a 5 star review just for how good the food is. It really is good. It can take a while for it to be ready but I can tell they’re making everything fresh and to order. I am super happy to have this as another option for take-out food in Talent. Try it out if you’re not in a hurry. You may have to drive down there to order as Im not sure they have a phone number yet. But whatever. The food is delicious and the prices are good for how much you get!

New opening! Authentic Indian food with flavors and spices… clearly beats other dining places in Rogue Valley. Anticipating they will expand the services further in the near future!

Excellent Indian food served fresh and piping hot. It’s a bit unusual because it’s actually inside a truck stop mini-mart. We found it a little hard to spot from the road, but once we found it, we were very glad we did. Large portions for a reasonable price.

Best Indian food in the valley!
Yes, you read that right! The menu is small, and you really should get it as takeout (it comes in tubs full to the brim and there are no plates), but it has more flavor than any other place around here right now.
Be warned: they make this when you order it. It’s why the food is so good! But the wait is fairly long: about 45 minutes if there’s nobody in front of you. There’s a dining area with hard metal chairs, so waiting isn’t terribly comfortable. You’d do better to walk a few buildings down to the local Legend cidery while you wait.

We cook Indian food every week and have been to India. We’ve eaten at literally hundreds of Indian food places. This is a hidden gem in Rogue Valley and the best Indian food we have eaten in the area. The owner is from Kolkata. The food is delicious and can be “spiced” to suit your palette. The portions are very generous. We will be back for sure. Yup, it’s a weird location next to fast food in a truck stop, but that is part of its charm.
