As a group of 12, we easily spent $300-$400 on food/dinner and drinks while we were there. Around 7 PM we were asked to either pay the five dollars extra to watch the band or to leave. We had not even finished eating and some of us hadn’t even gotten our food that we had already paid for. Again, this was an hour before the show. At 7:45 we were told again that we needed to leave or pay the extra $5 per person. We were wrapping up our meal and left shortly after. I am seriously disappointed with how we were treated this evening. We were paying customers and a very quiet group. Instead of requesting us to constantly be paying the additional five dollars, a kind suggestion that the band will be starting at 8 o’clock and that we needed to leave would’ve been fine. We all felt disrespected and unappreciated as customers who spent time and plenty of money there.
My suggestion is to take your business elsewhere where they appreciate their customers and don’t nickel and dime them.
There was a bagpipe group playing out front when we got there which was super cool to see and watch. They did move inside which I found way to loud for an enclosed space, we weren’t even able to have a conversation. But luckily they didn’t play for too long. They were great, don’t get me wrong, but it was just a bit too loud for inside.
The specials were great. There was plenty of wine choices, beer options, and other cocktails. There was also some bar food you could choose from and a great food truck outside.
Overall I’d recommend a stop it! The folks are friendly, its cute, and there are good options.
