If I could give this a 6/5 stars I would. The food keeps getting better. The staff is incredibly kind. I’d put this cuisine and experience against any other restaurant within a 94 minute drive around. Yes it’s worth the long drive from the Pittsburgh area. Sit inside or sit outside – you’ll love it. The menu changes at an impressive pace so it’s tough to make many excuse of why not to go. I try to make it up there every few months and kick myself for not making the journey more frequently. Absolutely awesome! (We got so excited enjoying the food that some pre-bite pics were forgotten…)

Great experience at Talbots! We have been seeing their social media posts and finally made a reservation for our anniversary. This restaurant is 85 minutes from us- so we were dedicated!
We ordered the charcuterie board which was delish.
The pretzels are deep fried and we liked their honey mustard and chocolate dipping options.
The 36 oz espresso rubbed ribeye was phenomenal and their Mac n cheese is to die for.
Finished up with carrot cake and creme brûlée cheesecake.
We loved the vibe of this place. If you are an elder millennial- GO HERE- you’ll understand why!
We will be back!

We drove 1 1/2 hours to have dinner here. I had the 36 oz bone in ribeye my wife had the pasta special. Our daughter had desire to inspire and my son in law had 36 oz ribeye. Absolutely amazing. Definitely worth the drive.

After being told numerous times to come check out this place I decided to today for my stepson‘s 17th birthday. However, I didn’t think it was really all that great. I ordered the fish sandwich and though I got a generous portion, I felt that it was very overcooked. My husband got a burger that was to be medium well but was really burnt, my stepson however did get the chicken and waffles and he seemed to really enjoy it. The waitress can’t say she was super friendly…. I most likely will not return and wouldn’t recommend.

It’s only my second but no question I will be returning.

We had rhe spinach dip an app and it was amazing.

For dinner we had the “roger that”:
pork cheeks/bbq braised/house
vegetables/short rib ravioli/champagne cream sauce/pesto and while I was skeptical, I ended up licking the plate clean.

We also had the “always sunny in philadelphia bowl” – filet tips/bacon/aged white cheddar mac n’ cheese/honey/scallions
Both with a jalapeño corn side dish.

Everything was unreal. 100 out of ten. Go now.

Talbot Reiber, the owner has curated an amazing unique art collection and has built something very special in Mercer County.

PS – Marty the bartender was awesome.

After having numerous friends rave about this place for years, my GF and I were finally able to check it out. Let me just say, it exceeded the hype! From the moment you pull in and walk through the door you are met with an eclectic atmosphere on display all over the restaurant. We sat at the bar and we’re immediately greeted by a wonderful bartender that made it feel like one of our regular hang outs. They have a rotating special menu that changes every two weeks which was highly recommended. We opted for the pepperoni balls off the regular menu as an appetizer. Absolutely delicious! We split an entree of the special menu called “The OG” which consisted of a 6 oz sirloin filet, 2 teriyaki shrimp skewers, and bacon cheddar Yukon golds. We added on the vegetable special of Mexican Street corn. Amazing! I would have licked the plate if I wasn’t in public. Finished our meal with the Peanut Butter pie. It was mouth watering (just watch out for your better half trying to steal the last bite). We cannot wait to go back again. Special shout out to Julianne (apologies if I got the name wrong ) Apologies for not taking picture of the Pepperoni balls. They didn’t last long!

Tonight we came to Talbots for the first time. The whole time experience from start to finish was absolutely amazing. I have been wanted to visit for I’d say probably the passed year. Well when we seen the 36oz bone in ribeye we knew we had to go. The food absolutely amazing our server was great and so was the rest of the staff the restaurant was clean and loved the decor. Highly recommend to anyone to visit. We will definitely be returning

Our reservation information for my birthday dinner was for two at 7:30pm. Upon arrival we were super excited to try a new place – especially it being so popular by word of mouth. I have never give a google review for a restaurant. But I felt this one needed to be heard. We did drive 35 minutes and weren’t bothered by that. Our server never mentioned her name, how we were, asked if we’ve ever been here before – first time etc. very short, terse & no personality. She seemed she did not want to stand, engage or give us her time while asking questions or more information on the great business. The plates are pricey & small portions. Our crab dip was dry, steak was not juicy at all & I’m sorry but the Mac & cheese tasted box & our noodles were not done. The caprese salad & sweet tea were honestly our only favorite thing.. lol so definitely get that. We weren’t upset by the food by any means. It’s the service from our waitress that really made us feel unwelcomed. We weren’t asked if our food arrived correctly, if we needed anything or even just checking in on us. I waited roughly 13 minutes to finally get ice in my cup. I’m glad we got this off our bucket list and were able to try. But we will not be back or go out of our way. I do believe there is better servers with a more upbeat attitude. Thank you for the time!

Stopped here for the first time. The food and the wine were delicious! I give the crab dip a 6/10 because it seems like they use fake crab maybe? But the Shrimp bombs, salad, and wings were awesome!
