Takumi is a stylish and nice place for dating and have some fan with friends or family. The food is tasty, but the portion of hand rolls is smaller than in others sushi places

I didn’t dine in. I ordered takeout. When I called to place my order, the receptionist was attentive and alert but they take your order very quickly, so it feels a bit rushed. I’d recommend knowing exactly what you want before calling.
I ordered the Hibachi Chicken Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice. I’ve indulged in a handful of hibachi meals over the years, so I’m pretty familiar with what good hibachi should taste like. The flavor here is good not exceptional, but decent. The rice is actually pretty good.
The soup, however, was disappointing. It tasted very diluted and lacked any real richness.
The hibachi chicken came in extremely small, bite-sized pieces almost too small which takes away from the value. It also wasn’t very tender and had a coarse texture.
Overall, decent flavor and fast service but the portion sizes and quality of the meat could definitely be improved.

I went out with my friend last Friday night. IT WAS PACKED. But we were so lucky to get seats at the bar. The ambience was nice. Kids had a game machine that they all crowded on while the adults were dining. I thought that was cute. The bathroom is nice but sadly the ppl that used it were not clean and threw toilet paper on the floor and a lemon in the sink. This is a nice restaurant – Im surprised ppl with no class would bring that mentality there too. We ordered a lot. The entree is huge- i ordered a lobster and shrimp which came with soup, salad and mashed potatoes. She ordered a sesame chicken dish. We also had spicy edamame for an appetizer. Next time ill try their dessert. Nice place. Fun time!

I give Takumi a 4/5 rating. The food was good, I did enjoy my hibatchi meal, and they made my order exactly how I asked and were able to accommodate my allergies. We enjoyed the sushi rolls, the tuna avocado, and the eel was good. We were not a fan of the sushi tacos. The green tea martini was delicious. The service was good they were very clean and fast. The hostess was not welcoming at all. Other than that, we enjoyed our time and food at this restaurant.

Fantastic experience at the bar. Our bartender Derek was friendly, attentive, and really knew their craft. The cocktails paired perfectly with the sushi and made the night even better. Will definitely be back.

Derek at the bar is a gem. Fast service, delicious drinks (spicy mango margarita and hot sake!, and out of this world food (soup, sushi rolls, and poke salad yum!!!). If we lived near here, this would be our new favorite place!
