Immediately upon entering Takumi Japanese Sushi Bar, they greeted me with an inviting and cordial ambiance. The restaurant’s interior emanated a warm and traditional Japanese atmosphere, making it a suitable location for informal dining and formal events.
The menu’s sushi and sashimi selection was extensive, featuring both traditional and avant-garde creations. The fish melted in the mouth due to its extraordinary freshness. The chef’s special rolls were especially remarkable due to their visually captivating appearance and delectable craftsmanship—exquisitely integrating flavors.
The attentive and cordial service contributed to the overall satisfaction of the clientele. The staff exhibited high expertise regarding the menu and provided impeccable recommendations, especially regarding sake pairings.
However, during peak hours, food service was marginally more time-consuming than anticipated, which diminished the dining experience slightly. Furthermore, although the food was of commendable quality, the cost appeared excessive, particularly for specific specialty rolls.

Great place for the family or a date night. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food that you receive. The bentos are well seasoned and cooked to order. The are busy at night after 6 pm, however if you are looking for a lunch time spot you can get in and out in under 30 minutes. They also have a bar and serve wine, liquor, and beer. Do not forget to sign up for their rewards program. The restaurant is kept clean and the chef cleans the grill before each order he cooks. The bathrooms were clean and maintained. Overall a great place to eat with family or even clients for business.

Dining area was quaint and unsettling as I was seat near a secondary entrance that was obstructed by my table? Water wasent brought until after three times our host kept going back and forth from the kitchen for something else. I felt that I wasn’t appreciated for even bothering to give my business as it felt very demeaning to have to wait after the fourth time she came back.

The food is outstanding and it’s prepared by employees who have a passion for food. During both of my experiences I’ve had the head chef insure it was to my liking and check on us multiple time. The customer service here makes the food even more enjoyable, when you have someone cooking it that truly cares about the product they’re producing.
The yakisoba is full of flavor and the seafood tastes fresh!
I highly recommend one of the omelette dishes and the garlic shrimp fried rice. It tastes just as good as if I were back in Okinawa Japan.
I regret not getting the name of our young waiter and chef but they were awesome!

I’m from Washington and have three family owned restaurants that are all rated 4.3 stars with hundreds of reviews. I’ve been a chef for many years and traveled around the country to many different sushi spots and the dynamite roll plus the dragon roll was the best sushi I’ve ever had. The food was fabulous. Chef Victor and Chris have some awesome skills. We sat at the counter, enjoyed watching them prepare everyone’s dishes. We ate from the happy hour menu $5each: asparagus, Kim Chee Calamari, Sweet fried potato, Lemon butter shrimp from 5 to 630pm daily(generous amount) And we still ordered a bento set pork belly with ginger sauce and garlic shrimp fried rice. Can’t wait to go again. Prices are so reasonable for Japanese Teppanyaki. Prices starting around $10 and up. And they have a kids menu.

Amazing!! Out of this World!! The best Sushi I have had. Started off with Oysters then main meal of Volcano Roll and Aloha Roll a must have when you visit Oahu, Hawaii. Staff is super friendly, very knowledgeable on the menu and will give you the best recommendations.
Volcano Roll perfect mix of flavors. Not to hot but will leave a spicy flavor in your mouth.

This place just had a change of menu when I went. Lots of food options you see in old photos aren’t offered anymore. They still have salad, oysters, rolls and some generic pupus, which i think was quite boring, also lack of variety. The rolls tasted fresh. But shrimp tempura and chicken karaage tasted like it was fried in old oil. Nasty. I give props to the servers working that night. There was only three of them as far as i could see who also double as hosts and bussers. Lots of tables and orders.very overwhelming night yet they have it under control remained professional the whole time and service everyone with smiles.
