I haven’t been to the physical location yet, but thanks too delivery services I got to try this incredible food. Let me tell you, the Birria MELTS in your mouth. The consume I drink like a sippy cup when it’s done and sleep so heavily after. This Is what love for culture and love for people produces: incredible food and sharing it with others. I cant shut up about it to my family. Thank you for the blessing you give to this community!

Here’s the review:
This place is usually not getting enough business for my liking and I wanted to go find out why. Being from California, it’s important for me to find the best Mexican or Latin Cuisine I can. We, this one is the best I have found in the St Louis Metro area to date.
First the staff are super nice and happy. They greet you with a warm and excited hello. If you want to taste the Agua Frescas you can ask and they’re happy to let you try.
As far as the food, I attached images of what we ordered so take a look at those.
My son ordered the cheese quesadilla with fries. The fries are nice and crispy, and the cheese pull is legendary!!!! Just when you think it wont pull anymore, there’s more. It’s also a nice salty Mexican cheese and super flavorful. You’ll have to get all three salsas and see which one goes better for you, but they are all amazing!
I got the 3 chicken tamales with crema and shredded lettuce. It was filling and packed with loads of spices. I enjoyed mine with horchata to drink and the green salsa since it was already spicy. They serve the tamales on the weekends so get there before they sell out, its worth the wait.
Overall, this place is a 10/10 for authentic flavors, perfectly balanced agua frescas, positive happy staff, and awesome food. Make sure they stay busy will you do that for me? They are the best.

Tried this taco place at St. Clair Square food court. The tacos were okay but they could have been more flavorful. The salsa also wasn’t very good. I did like that I was able to get three different types of tacos. The cashier was very nice. They text you when your food is ready which was nice. I want to try the street corn next time.

We used Takozz recently (September 2025) for a corporate event we were hosting. The food was amazing –super fresh and authentic. Our guests were from Mexico and the Caribbean and they all raved about how good it was. We were able to work with Ramon to create a menu for our event which included 3 types of tacos as well as street corn & churros. Lalo and the ladies who were with him worked super hard the day of the event—and made sure our entire “crew” ate as well.

Got Takozz for the family on my bday… reasonable price to feed a family of 5, the food was on another level!

Takozz is beyond awesome! We have them out several times a year because EVERYONE loves their food and it is just a bonus that they are easy to work with and fun to be around. We are not their biggest client, but they make us feel like we are their most important client, every single time! I highly recommend Takozz!!!
