For the food, the takoyaki were very well made, hot and soft inside and outside were very crispy, really had chunks of tako in them, they also had fukujinzuke inside, which is new and refreshing for me.
I wasn’t expecting the shumai be fried and it feels like they are from the brand – Ajinmoto but still taste really great, it’s rare to find a restaurant with 100% homemade appetizers anyways.
The nigiri were great too, they have a large variety of raw fish options, I’m very impressed, the pricing were very fair too.
The only thing I will deduct some points in my head is that I didn’t expect the ikura be marinated with rice vinegar, tastes a little bit off for me, I personally prefer them to be plainly in shoyu flavour.
And I’m pretty sad that I forgot to take away our leftover spiderman rolls lol, we were too happy about the dinner that night.
