We had the best tacos, hands down! While driving by, we stopped at Tacos Fuentes for a quick snack. Both the tacos and burritos were amazing! The cheese tortillas, deliciously marinated beef, and thinly cut vegetables made for a fantastic meal. I’m tempted to return to Douglas just to savor this incredible food once more. The owner of the food cart was exceptionally friendly and kept asking us if we liked the food. We can’t thank him enough for serving us the best tacos we’ve ever eaten!

So the owner asked for feedback, so thought better here so everyone gets to hear. Best tacos I’ve had in a while. I had three, left hungry so more a snack than a meal. That said the Asada was good in all of them. The Loka was fire, literally and I’m glad I ate it last because my taste buds were overwhelmed by the throwing deliciousness. The picture is the Loka, a flame-roasted chili stuffed with Asada and cheese.
My favorite was the Ta-Keso tortilla layered with grilled cheese and Asada. Don’t know where he got the crazy names, but I name them excellent.

We ordered Tako quesa asada (i think). You get a half lime with it. Very very reasonably priced items. And satisfied with 2. Loved the atmosphere because it’s at the park. We will definitely be back and will be recommending

I absolutely LOVE Takos Fuentes! The owner Richard is chill and down to earth. Being a professional, he gave me my intimate moment with his most wonderful creation, The tako Locos… Oh so divine! It’s a juicy, perfectly cooked pepper, stuffed with heaven, that is supported by a toasted soft toco shell! I sampled three of his tacos, and within three minutes I had gobbled them all down–and also reminded myself three times that I needed to return very soon to try the next menu item.
Decent prices. Best food ever. Professional cook. Chill atmosphere.

This was impressive. I love Mexican food, and had to try the top rated place in Douglas. It is easy to see why. The food is so unique. I had a pepper stuffed on a taco shell. And it wasn’t crazy spicy. Yummy! Tried several items and my mouth is salivating it was so good.

EDIT: It’s been 3 years, we came here while on a wildland fire deployment. I still think about these tacos everyday and want to make the 15 hour drive down to get some again.
Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Owner was awesome and gave us some tacos to try for free. I would eat here every day if I lived in Douglas.

Fantastic food, quick and fresh. Tried all three tacos (takos), excellent spice level, brought the heat but still complimented the rest. Absolutely coming back when I’m in town again.
