Really great ambiance! Clean and spacious. The beef ramen was good but the beef was a little too sweet and the soup was too salty. Noodle was really good with great consistency! It was a good value for the meal. I didn’t finish the soup and ask for a little extra soup but they charge for the little extra soup. Over all it was still a nice experience.

The first thing you notice about this restaurant is the charming, comfortable atmosphere. Seconds later the warmth of the welcoming staff takes your attention. Then, delicious apps take center stage. The edamame was grilled, smoky, nutty, salty goodness. The shrimp lollipops were perfectly coated with crisp panko with tender shrimp centers and topped with three delicious sauces and scallions. And so fun that they are served on sticks lollipop-style! Milk tea and Thai tea were cool, sweet compliments to the food. Yakiudon bowls were generous portions of chewy delectable noodles combined with the best veggies and shrimp. Finally, don’t miss the mochi ice cream dessert. Light, creamy deliciousness that is not too sweet or overly filling. We loved our visit and plan to be back often!

Such a wonderful addition to Riverhead. Consistently delicious food, friendly service, great ambience – nice for a casual date. Nice portions for reasonable prices, too. The sake and fresh fruit boba are delicious! We love coming here!

We’ve already been here several times and it’s always a great choice. Recently we ordered the edamame – a delicious starter, even my toddler enjoyed it! Can’t go wrong with any of the appetizers. The beef ramen with pork broth is so delicious, I have a hard time ordering anything else when I come here. Obsessed!

We did take out a few times from here recently, and the place is fantastic. The portions are huge, the flavors are delicious and I love the way they package everything. The ramen is separated into separate sections so you can mix the broth and noodles when you’re ready, at your own time. We will be going more often.

This ramen spot was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was beautiful and quiet, which made the whole experience even better. They’ve been open for about a year, but this was my first time going, and the food really impressed me. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. I’m definitely glad I finally checked it out, and I’ll be coming back for sure. The only thing I would change was that I ordered take out instead of sitting down to eat.

I really enjoyed the food here. Everything was flavorful and surprisingly light, but filling. I was really impressed with the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the wait staff.
If you like ramen, definitely give this place a try. It’s walking distance from the LI Aquarium.
Also note that there are 2 other locations – one in Easton, PA near the Crayola Factory, if you’re ever out that way, and one in Syosset.

I’m so glad that Main St.in Riverhead (and North Fork) has another gem place to eat. My family and I finally tried Takkii for the first time yesterday. Loved it. The food is fresh and very good – and so are the proportions. The staff is also very friendly. The restaurant has a nice vibe & layout and it is very clean! We’ll definitely be going back often. Highly recommend.

When you first walk into Takkii you can tell that they took the time and effort to make it what they wanted. The vibe is authentic and cozy reminding you of a Japanese village.
The service was quick and responsive. Each person we interacted with was polite and respectful. Attention to detail was definitely not missed at Takkii.
Lastly the food was amazing, we sampled many different dishes as it was our first dining experience. Each dish was unique in flavor and made fresh to order. Make sure you try their fruit teas!
We are excited to come visit and hopefully Takkii becomes a mainstay here in Riverhead. We wish Takkii and their staff nothing but the best.
