Food was absolutely delicious. I had the spicy miso ramen with osaka beef added. Very flavorful and bold in taste with the Osaka beef. Also had the octopus balls as an appetizer, very very delicious. Service was great, no complaints whatsoever. Two ramen bowls with the appetizer and extra beef ran me about 56$. Not too bad considering everything is made right then and there not fast food type of food. This place would do great as a bigger square footage eatery. Great for what it is though. Small diamond in the rough.

Decided to try this restaurant tonight (takeout). At first going through the reviews which were a mix of good and bad, we were slightly skeptical. Well….once the food arrived it smelled DELICIOUS. For appetizers we tried the noodle wrapped shrimp, calamari and pork gyoza. The noodle wrapped shrimp were absolutely phenomenal. That was my favorite dish we got out of the entire meal. Super crispy, the texture was flaky crispy and it had some soy sauce and a little spicy mayo on it which was perfect. We both got the Sukiyaki beef udon for our meal and I have no complaints. The meat was so tender and cooked perfectly, noodles and toppings were fresh and delicious. I don’t like broth. But this broth was crazy good. I literally found myself drinking it! I could not believe how good the broth was. The portions (appetizers) are smaller than some other restaurants, but the quality was spot on. This is our new favorite Japanese ramen place.

Overall this was disgraceful. The service was SOOO SLOW! We were the only ones in there and it still took long. The food was hit and miss. Seaweed salad was good but a small amount of. The edamame was delicious but also small ( tasted fire roasted). My seafood Udon was very good with lots of shrimp. Miso was ok.

Cute little place. I went with my boyfriend and some friends. I use this place as a nice and easy middle point for hang outs. The Takki and Miso Ramen are good. Gyoza is a must get. Decorations could be better. Much as improved though. My boyfriend did not like his meal for the second time. That was unfortunate.

Best ramen in town. We got the takkii beef with side of chicken and pork belly rice bowl. Everything was excellent. Chicken was crispy and tender also the beef was very flavorful. Also the pork belly was so delicious we added some scallions to it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to try japanese ramen Also staff were friendly and nice.

Decided to go here after going to Takkii Ramen in Reading. Food looked disgusting. My boyfriend and I both order pork gyoza and chicken Ramen. The smell was absolutely terrible. My boyfriend couldnt even eat his food he took a few bites and felt like he was going to throw up because of the smell. When we brought it up to them that we didnt eat the chicken cause of how it looked and he couldnt even eat any of his food they said thats just how it is. If you order it make sure you can’t smell and your ok with noodles that taste as if their reheated. Spending almost $16 on something that tasted absolutly terrible is unbelievable. The bill came out to almost $51 and we barely ate anything. The staff not doing anything to understand the situation also didn’t help anything at all. We were there for about 30 minutes and got checked on once and then completely ignored, while they seen us picking thru the food. Definitely will not be going again and definitely not recommending to anyone.

I recently visited this Japanese Ramen spot that left me with a few mixed feelings. The bowl of ramen was flavorful, though it featured some shrimp and mussels, which felt a bit light on seafood for the price. The fried calamari, served with a drink, pushed the bill over $30—a price point that seemed a little steep for what was offered. Additionally, if you wanted to add a spicy kick, there was an extra charge, which didn’t really enhance the overall experience. Overall, while the food was good and the presentation appealing, it didn’t quite live up to the expectations set by its pricing.

This small joint has BIG flavor. I’ve been here half a dozen times and the Takkii Beef Ramen never disappoints! I started to add a soft-boiled egg, very umami and chashu, delicious braised pork belly. I’m usually able to make 2 meals out of an order of the beef Ramen with the add-ons. I always fight with myself not to eat this every single night. If groceries keep going up, I just might.

The crew are always phenomenally sweet and quick. Favorite restaurant spot and I’m lucky enough to live 5 minutes away!

I went in with my daughter as well as my significant other, planning to grab something for myself and him while she ate the food she brought along. She doesn’t eat the kind of food they serve here, so I thought this would be an easy way for us to have a meal together since that is what we are used to. As soon as we walked in though, we were told she couldn’t have her food inside. The staff mentioned there was a sign at the front, but honestly we didn’t notice it because we had just walked straight in. I understand restaurants have policies, but as a mom it felt disheartening to be turned away when all we wanted was to sit down and share a meal space with our child. A little kindness or flexibility would have gone a long way in making us feel welcome instead they lost 2 customers.

The food and the service were good. The only downside is that 90% of the menu comes with pork. They have one appetizer and 1 ramen meal that has chicken (fried).

The spicy miso is not spicy at all, and I had to substitute chicken instead of the pork (which I was charged extra for). They also have a bao bun dish on the appetizer menu, but it also comes with pork, and they would not substitute pork for chicken. It is upsetting because their chicken is very delicious.
