This is an ice cream bar. But I mainly go for Take It Holmes; pre-made, heat and eat meals. These are chef inspired gourmet meals! There will be 6 to choose from. Just reach into the fridge and get whichever ones you want. They also have family size meals! The menu changes every week.
They have delicious home made chicken salad and pimento cheese!
Averie’s Ice Cream has over 30 flavors.

Bought a family meal of tacos with Spanish rice (not all tacos pictured here). They were very filling, cheaper than drive thru and absolutely delicious. Will pick up dinner again! We love their ice cream! We got 6 ice creams for $26, reasonable and a great treat for the kids. I hope they do well and stay in the area forever!

This has to be the worst take-home food I’ve ever experienced we tried the Korean beef and the baked ziti they are absolutely terrible. The baked ziti basically has no meat sausage just a bunch of noodles with a little bit of cheese it’s not even the ricotta that they claim. The Korean beef is just salt. No actual flavor they just heap salt onto it and say it’s a dish. I would never recommend this to anybody on their worst day

One of my new favorite ice cream shops. Ice cream was delicious, service was great, vibe was spot on for an ice cream shop.
10 stars. Definitely gave me a feeling of nostalgia for some reason but super comfortable. Plus, the kids had a blast.

My first time in, Lee was wonderful explained the meals to us. Showed us all of them! We ended up with 2 ice creams. Chicken salad, Pimento salad and a chicken pot pie to go. Very excited to try. Lee is superb with his knowledge and top notch customer service!! Will be back soon!

Take It Holmes at Averie’s is an absolute lifesaver on those super busy days. It is so convenient to be able to grab one of their meals and heat it up at home. I have never had anything that wasn’t amazing! Do not forget their tomato pie or one of their famous sweets!!!

The herb chicken was so overdone and tough we couldn’t even cut it with a knife!Also bought grilled steak dinner,couldn’t chew it at all! It was all grissle,terrible.They have raised their prices again since I was there last month…very dissatisfied!

What a wonderful surprise. We were looking for a place to walk the dogs and grab a bite to eat and we found this place! Great selection of meals (teriyaki chicken with sugar snap peas over vegetable fried rice for my husband and pimento cheese and chicken salad for me). Plus I picked up some puppy pops for our dogs! Incredibly nice people and great food. Definitely would recommend.

I recently had my first visit and picked the parmesan chicken family size meal with two sides. The two sides I got were green beans and macaroni and cheese. It was all really delicious! My husband and I both enjoyed it and we had left overs for the next day! This place is great for a break from cooking and much better than take out food from a restaurant. We will definitely be going back! Hopefully they will remain consistent with the quality and quantity of the food they serve!!!
