The hibachi itself didn’t taste bad… but the fact I was enjoying my soup and found a fake eyelash swimming along side the mushrooms really ruined my appetite. Was recommended by a friend to try the place out but it’ll be my last visit.

This was sad experience. I came to dine in, the food is good, but they served Udon soup like I’m a war refugee, into plastic container for to go, it takes forever to cool off, and it is pretty inconvenient to eat from that. My Udon was with steak, actually it was supposed to be with steak. I got 4 or 5 micro strips of steak… even for modest Asian ppl, that’s not even close to normal part of meat in Udon soup. You can (hopefully) see it in the picture. At the end, I had to put some ice into that noodle soup with traces of meat, because I couldn’t wait any longer. Disappointing.

I’ve been coming here for years, and every time I try a new place. I always wish I’d come back and eat here. They have the best sushi rolls for their prices. And they’re not super expensive.
I have never has an issue with anything bad in the food.
The store is small but clean.

Wow! This was a surprise. The reviews don’t reveal the truth about this Japanese take-out. Let me tell you, this place has the BEST Rainbow Rolls in the Jackson metro and I mean by comparing their rolls to the expensive Japanese restaurants! Don’t miss out on this hidden food location —especially if you like rolls.

Ok! The girl who was running the headset and taking my order? Beautiful queen i will say. She was so sweet and just had a gokd attitude and vibe. Even a regular came in and was happy to see her. They greeted eachother with such good energy. And the customer even complimented me too! Beautiful people in this world and it was in this restaurant. Plus the food hit the spot! I was craving sushi and this place gave exactly what I needed.

I couldn’t even pick up a piece of my sushi roll without it crumbling and all the rice falling off . Someone’s not rolling the recipe for sure . I absolutely love Takara Japanese. The food is consistently excellent, with generous portions and familiar fares. The staff is friendly, quick, and professional. Even when I am on a health binge, I feel great eating takara and use it as my own little motivational treat. Give them a try, you’ll be glad you did when you’re craving asian cuisine.
