This is a restaurant my host family took me to during my homestay. I’m Japanese, but the sushi was just as delicious as the sushi you find in Japan. I especially recommend the salmon and yellowtail—they were excellent. I also tried a California roll for the first time, and it was tasty as well.
For drinks, I recommend Ramune. It’s a Japanese soda and has a sweet, refreshing taste.

Really fun place and SO many options! You can do full meals, choose a variety a la carte, or a combination of the two. I opted for one of the plates and it was delicious, but a LOT of food. I definitely had leftovers!
We were a big group of 10+ and they have spaces large enough to accommodate a group of that size.

So yummy! You can tell the employees work so hard, sushi was so good and fresh that we forgot to take a picture. Pictured is the Katsu Don bowl, but we got a variety and everything was incredible, highly recommend.

This is my second try at the Takahashi. And whoa…
Food:
Seared Salmon (5/5)
Whoa. Thick cut and excellent. Savory and very tender, with a nice balance of flavor and texture. This was easily the standout dish and the reason I would come back.
Veggie Roll (5/5)
Good portions with thick avocado and a solid mix of sesame, carrots, and cucumber. Fresh, clean flavors and very satisfying for a simple roll.
Smoked Salmon (5/5)
Good, thick pieces with nice smoky flavor. Fresh and well prepared.
Overall, the food was consistent and high quality across everything we ordered.
Service (4/5):
Good overall, though it felt like there was only one hostess working during the rush hour. Because of that, things moved a bit slower than expected, but the staff was still polite and helpful.
Ambiance (3/5):
There are tables in the main dining area, bar seating, and more tables in the back. It works well for groups and families, but I would recommend making a reservation during busy hours.
Parking is the biggest challenge. It is very tight and limited, especially when the restaurant is busy, which adds some stress before you even walk in.
Great food and worth the visit, just plan ahead for parking and wait time.

Great service, fresh food, fresh sushi, delicious food as well. Was pleasantly surprised at everything here as well as how fresh everything was for the location. Service was great as well and prices seem fair. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area

Fantastic find!!! The tempura is a crispy explosion of goodness! The sushi is so fresh! and they don’t skimp on quality or serving size. I ordered a sushi meal, came with an amazing cucumber salad, hot soup, and a fantastic variety of sushi, for around 20$ this place is WORTH going to!

This is such a good deal. Especially on Wednesdays, when it’s 20% off! Our server was great, she even split it by couple right off the bat. She was super experienced and everything was super fast.

Wonderful dishes, the fish is extremely good quality. I hadn’t visited before but now it’s my #1 sushi spot. Definitely a tad pricey but worth every single penny. I’m so glad I discovered this gem so close to my house. I’m slowly making my way through all the menu. Definitely just visit at least once, and try their seared salmon.
