We had such a good dinner at Taka Japanese Sushi in Wayne. It’s BYOB, which already makes it a win, and the vibe inside is super relaxed and cozy. it’s perfect for a chill night out.

The sushi was so fresh. We tried a few of their special rolls and loved every single one. Super flavorful without being heavy. The chicken teriyaki was also a surprise favorite… it was tender, flavorful, and not overly saucy like some places make it.

Honestly just a solid spot all around! Great food, nice atmosphere, and the kind of place we’ll definitely come back to!!

The shrimp is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious every single time. You can really taste the quality in every bite. Great quality food, reliable consistency, and a place we’re always happy to come back to.

Amazing fresh fish. Almost buttery in texture. Very fresh and delicious sushi.I loved the cozy vibe. We went on a weekday so the service was a bit slower. Not sure how it is during busy nights. I loved the dim lighting and vibe that felt romantic, a perfect date night spot for sure. The cucumber salad had an almost smoky flavor to it I really enjoyed.

Love this place. The staff is super friendly and the fish is always fresh and delicious. Try their specials like the Kumamoto oysters which were swimming in a touch of wasabi liquid and beautifully briny. The Kinmedai (specially flown in from Japan) over a rice soaked in soy sauce was very good too.
