So I posted on our dinner visit on the Taj site but now I am posting about our Sunday brunch experience.
My wife and I love Indian food and have tried many restaurants. Sunday brunch here is a great way to experience some tastes of different dishes they offer. Mind you this is just a speck of what they offer. It’s from 12-3 and $25 per person. It includes sodas, waters, 7 vegetarian dishes and 7 meat dishes, salads and 3 different deserts with fresh fruit.
The food even at a buffet style is at a high level with quality and freshness. The staff at this place is unlike other places. Extremely friendly, accommodating and very concerned that you have everything you need while dining.
It’s a must try and will be back with others next time. I wish I took pics but I am sure if you read others reviews and see their pics you can gauge what I am talking about.

We went for dinner with our 8-month-old daughter and had such a good experience. Dhibin took great care of us — super warm, friendly, and welcoming. He recommended the tamarind eggplant and shahi paneer, and both were honestly amazing.

The drinks, the food, the service was just amazing! The servers were so incredibly kind, and the food was out of this world delicious. At the end of the night they did a beautiful henna on me (which was a beautiful experience) and we got gulab jamun which is my personal favorite dessert. Overall the atmosphere and our experience here was just top tier. We will be back!

And let me just say… the bathroom is fully laid in GOLD—yes, GOLD! ✨ A detail that speaks volumes about the care and intention behind every part of this space.
The staff was beyond kind and welcoming. They answered every single question we had about the menu with patience and enthusiasm, and the teamwork among the staff was impressive. You can genuinely feel how committed they are to making sure guests are enjoying both their food and their time at Taj.
To top it all off, we were treated to a complimentary Indian dessert from the chef—warm, donut-like bites dipped in a light, clear sugar glaze. Absolutely delicious.
And the henna done by Pravalika was beautifully crafted—such a thoughtful and special touch to the evening.
Taj, the vibe last night was incredible. Thank you for the amazing service and unforgettable food. My wife and I, along with our daughters, will absolutely be back for the buffet—there is so much more I need to try! The Indian restaurant is located on the second floor, right next to Courtyard hotel. While there are many food options in this area, if you like Indian food – this is the place to have dinner. Their specials are amazing in presentation and taste, service is implacable and they offer my favorite sweet raisin Indian bread.

Taj Stamford is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in the customer service was top tier, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was beautifully presented, delicious, and authentic! The atmosphere is so cute, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The music was a great touch at a perfect volume. Oh, and I ended the night off with complimentary Henna! Highly recommend!!!

After walking by this place a couple times, my partner and I finally made a reservation for our anniversary, and it was one of the best restaurant experiences we have EVER had! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and creative, and the ambiance was delicately crafted. A clean, beautiful, tasty journey here will never be forgotten and we will absolutely be back soon. I also had the pleasure of receiving a complimentary henna tattoo from the very talented hostess, who was super friendly and happy to share her culture with me. If you love Indian food and haven’t been here, do yourself and the restaurant a favor and come check them out! 🙂
