Taj Restaurant is one of those rare places that stays with you long after the meal. The food was rich and comforting, full of authentic flavor and made with care you can actually taste. The chicken tikka masala was beautifully seasoned, the naan came out warm and perfect, the Indian biryani and tandoori chiken were delicious. Even the simplest dishes felt soulful. And they had fresh fried chicken momo…absolutely top tier.
The staff was kind, welcoming, and genuine. There’s real heart in this place. Easily one of Killeen’s best dining experiences. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Service was great! The server answered all my questions and gave new amazing recommendations. I had the butter chicken and garlic naan. I was surprised with how little chicken pieces came with the dish was it was still good. It was cozy and nice place. The mango smoothie was creamy and delicious. Not too sweet just perfect

I ordered that and garlic naan. It came with balsamic rice. Everything was so delicious. It was $21.59. Definitely worth it.
This was my first time ordering here. I ordered to-go. I did have to wait a bit and the host explained to me that there was a big order placed. Which I understood. It was lunch time. I waited inside. A/C felt good in this Texas heat.
I’ve been living in Killeen for 2 years and I’m bummed I did not come here sooner! I enjoyed this Indian food. I want to be brought here on my birthday or when I’m sad…. That’s how happy this food made me lol.
I definitely will be back again. Chicken portion was good. They gave me a lot of chicken. Came with 4 garlic naans. Everything is well seasoned and flavorful. Food was very warm. I like that you can choose mild or spicy for your palette.
I need to lay down right now and take me a good nap!!

If I could give a 10 star I would. Quiet place, great for a cozy date night. I got the chicken curry mild and boyfriend got the lamb curry medium. I tried his and it was delicious everything was perfectly warm and the basmati rice was so fluffy. Tried Indian food for the first time today and it didn’t disappoint. Prices are reasonable for portions. I ordered the butter chicken & a side of garlic Naan. It was bomb! Did not finish it all. Chicken were bigger chunks, which I didn’t mind. Food was made to order and super fresh! Will be back!

The mango Lassi (which is like a smoothie) is so fresh & sweet
My mom & I can’t wait to visit again! The atmosphere is a very nice upscale restaurant. This would also make a great weekend date night spot

I took those photos in your restaurant while I was on the phone with Door Dash. Ask the lady sitting at the host table. I’m sure you know that because I overheard her on the phone with you, explaining why I was there for a refund. You just confirmed your lack of empathy for your customers (former customers). I hope everyone views this thread before they call and order from your establishment. If this is how the owner responds to a grievance, I can only assume the culture you model. Suspect!!!

Great food and service. The waitress got the order right for a group of 7 people. The food tasted great. Good portion size. Plenty of free parking outside.
