We had a family meal on February 14th, 2025. Service is fast, and food is fresh and plenty. It is a new ownership. Garlic Nan is very tasty. I love their Gobi Manchurian. It is the star for this day meal. Their chicken pakora tasted different from the previous visit. Their goat and meat dishes also tasted different. I preferred the previous owner meat dishes. It is still delicious but different. Their salad is very good ! I feel like the cook is good at vegetarian meals. Overall, it is still a good meal for us!

I visited Taj Palace and in Buffett the tandoori chicken. Unfortunately, it had a strong unpleasant smell, as if it was not fresh and possibly prepared 2–3 days earlier. This was very disappointing and raised concerns about food quality and hygiene. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves freshness and standards.

Food tasted delicious. I like curry with more vegetables, Jafrezzi on the menu was perfect for that. If you like lamb but haven’t tried goat, I’d recommend to give goat a try(watch out for the bones though)! Their service was very good, the wait wasn’t long. We all had different sorts of curry and everyone enjoyed the dinner.

Got there 20 minutes after they opened. Place began to fill up fast for a Thursday night. Very attentive staff. Much different than other restaurants as the servers and other staff took care of all tables. No territorial server problems here. Straight forward Indian menu. Food was outstanding and heat level was right where we asked for in our separate dishes. More than large enough portions. Rice was cooked to perfection, fluffy and flavorful. Only complaint was a lack of cashews in the sauce. One in one dish and 2 in the other, but it did not ruin the sauce. Definitely will be going back. $38.00 for two entrees, naan bread and a soda.

We have been coming here for around 15 yrs! Sadly after last nights dinner there we won’t be back! We walked in around 6 PM the place wasn’t even half full. I waited to be greeted for almost 10 minutes then they asked if I was picking up. I said no and the owner just walked away. Finally we were seated around 6:15. We ordered and we waited and waited and waited for over a hour and 15 minutes to get our food. The server told me they had a lot of door dash orders and that’s why it’s taking so long! I asked to speak to the owner and waited another 15 minutes after the meal to discuss with him he never came to talk to us. If they would have told us that they were so behind we might have gone somewhere else. Very disappointed and unfortunately we won’t be back!

Ordered chicken Tikka masal with mild spice, got no spice so it was bland as you expect, will have to ask if they do spice on a 1 to 5 1 meaning no spice, if so will order a spice level of 2 or 3 for some flavor, will update once I’ve actually got to try it properly, Naan bread was absolutely delicious, loved the complimentary Indian dish was nice, very clean atmosphere, great service.

Ate here Thanksgiving weekend — our server was excellent and everything was DELICIOUS. We had chicken tikka, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala and the garbanzos in tomato sauce. Highly recommend for freshly-prepared authentic Indian food in the East End, with a peaceful ambiance. Also, greatly appreciated the a refill on rice.
