A lovely little Indian restaurant right in the heart of Jena.
Both the cosy ground floor and spacious second floor have ample seating and are charmingly decorated.
Having been disappointed by bland curries elsewhere, I decided to jump in at the deep end order the lamb vindaloo.
I was glad to have ordered a refreshing glass of tasty pineapple lassi alongside it because it was pretty intense but delicious.
Apparently any dish on the menu can be adjusted for spiciness to suit every palate.
For having enjoyed my curry so much (or having survived it!) I got a 2-meals-for-1 coupon, which I look forward to using soon.
The menu is comprehensive and there are plenty of vegetarian options alongside various chicken, lamb, and fish curries – lots of drinks too.
Service was also warmly welcoming, swift, and attentive.
Highly recommended for a great value and delicious curry.

We’ve been there two times. The location is super nice.
On our first visit, the service was so slow (that’s why I gave it one star less). But, the second time, the service was so much better and lot faster.
Personally, the foods are tasty (P.S: I’m not Indian or South Asian). We ordered lamb biryani, tandoori grill, and butter chicken, naan, and lassi. Our personal favorite is the butter chicken. The portion of biryani is massive (a good thing, of course). So, the price is quite worth it.

Good Indian food. Some dishes very close to authentic. Lunch thali options are really pocket friendly and food taste good and light. I would recommend this place for people looking for Indian food in Jena.

I ordered through Uber Eats, and received a huge portion of butter chicken with rice, and I ordered a garlic naan on the side. Everything was delicious. My special instructions were followed. I hate cilantro and have a hard time getting that request followed in the English language. I can’t understand the one star reviews from anyone, because compared to most US Indian cuisine, that I am used to, this was better. My chicken was not dry, it was moist and flavorful. It was enough for two people easily, but I will eat my leftovers tomorrow. The food was also completely sealed, which I appreciated.

Beautifully decorated and perfect ambience!! I ordered chicken biriyani and Bishal was kind enough to adjust it as per my request. Located right in the city center and offers good food at decent price with gigantic proportions.Would recommend visiting at least once!

we waited a long time, the food wasn’t great, naan tasted like it was just defrosted, and the prices were quite high. other than that the atmosphere was really nice, the interrior of the restaurant is beautiful and the waitress was super nice. but the food itself was not great
